So as you know I have been hanging out in the armchair next to my 85yr old dad since just before xmas in rural NSW without my own transport, so apart from the occasional walk down to the town centre which is only 10mins away (and pretty much looks the same any way I walk- beautiful but the same....), I got my niece to take us to #TathraBeach for the afternoon and I haven't been there for a few years now and there was a really bad #bushfire that almost burnt the town down a few years ago https://www.abc.net.au/news/topic/tathra-2550 So we thought we go there and drive around the see what has changed and a few things have- for the better too.
So looking at this photo #Auckland #NewZealand is to the right.
So here is the location of so many of my childhood memories #camping down the beach with my family and all of our family friends and teenage memories (up the #TathraPub dancing my arse off to some of Australia's most famous bands like #MentalAsAnything, #TheChoirboys, #theRadiators, #TheAngels, #PhilEmmanual, #JohnSwann, #MargaretUrlich, #HuntersandCollectors, #JohnnyDieselAndTheInjectors, (as they were back then) #Icehouse and so many more. Oh the good old days....
