As I was walking on the beach, there was this timeless draw that pulled me towards the shore. I cannot express my feelings but admire the beauty of the beach. Walking on the beach for me is more than just a leisure activity but one form of my meditation. It is my way to connect with nature and oneself.
The sand provides a massaging feeling whenever you step on it. It shifts and molds itself to the shape of your foot. It gets warmer and warmer as you get closer to the water, and you might sink slightly with each step. The chemistry of land and sea adds a dynamic element to your walk, making each step a unique experience.

One that captures me the most is the sound of the crashing waves on the shore. Well, it is very relaxing to hear the waves and have a very soothing background sound that can wash away the stress and the commotion of life. Each wave follows the other, creating an unending cycle of fade and flow. This effect greatly affects the mind and soul of one being, calming their mind akin to a lullaby that soothes and relaxes.
You may find your thoughts drifting in sync with the tide as you listen to the waves. Problems that seemed unsolvable began to diminish in a moment, replaced by the sense of order and peace. Ohh . . . how I love the waves!

I took these photos during noon time. As I walked by, I noticed these details that push me to my senses – the complex pattern left by the waves on the sand, the broken shells scattered along the shore, and the rushing of hermit crabs to the sand before they will be washed by the sea. These unnoticeable small details surprise our minds to how beautiful the natural world is.
Looking at the ocean, and its vastness, can put you on a question of curiosity about how big this world and just how small you are. It can put you on a question of “Do I really belong to this unraveled mystery of the world, or do I have the purpose of existing to this beautiful and boundless world?”
For now, let’s just enjoy the serene beauty of nature and how it works in mysterious ways.
Thank you for reading.
