Wednesday Walk: The Black Agouti Hunt (aaaaand more kitties). [ENG-...

Hello everybody! Today was a beautiful sunny day and I decided to stop being so lazy and went hiking with my daughter. The rain seems to be at pause lately and it is nice to be able to enjoy the weather and have a picnic for a change.

On our way to the park we were greeted by our kitty friends and took some quick pics of them, they definitely like to pose.

¡Hola a todos! Hoy fue un día hermoso y soleado y decidí dejar la pereza e ir a caminar con mi hija. La lluvia parece estar en pausa últimamente y es genial poder salir finalmente a disfrutar el clima y tener un pequeño picnic para salir de la rutina.

En el camino hacia el parque nos saludaron nuestros amigos gatunos y tomé unas fotos rápidamente, definitivamente les gusta posar para la cámara.

The sun was shining bright but the smell of moisture was there, and being surrounded by trees gave me a vibrant sensation, as if nature was embracing me.

After a while in the forest area we spotted a Black Agouti (I had the hardest time translating that since in my country is called "picure"), I chased it to try to take a photograph but it just vanished, but then we saw a few more here and there, I had to remain from afar since they are pretty cautious with humans.

El sol brillaba pero el olor a humedad estaba presente en el ambiente, y estar rodeada de árboles me causaba una sensación de vibración en el cuerpo, cómo si la naturaleza estuviera abrazándome.

Luego de un tramo en el área boscosa vimos un picure, lo seguí un rato tratando de fotografiarlo pero desapareció rápidamente, pero luego vimos unos cuantos más aquí y allá, tuve que mantener cierta distancia pues son animales muy cautelosos con los humanos.

We kept walking looking for a spot to sit and have a snack and we saw some black egrets (had to look it up too 😅).

I am really glad that I did manage to get some fresh air and took my child to have some fun before she starts school.

Continuamos caminando en búsqueda de un lugar para sentarnos a comer algo y vimos unas garzas negras. Me alegra mucho haber podido salir a tomar aire fresco y llevar mi hija a distraerse un rato antes de que comience de nuevo las clases.
