Hello Hive!
This is my first time posting in the Wednesday Walk Community. I couldn't find a better place but here, to share the low tide walk I had with and
one late afternoon along the coast of Moalboal in Cebu, Philippines.
spent a 4-day scuba diving vacation in Moalboal. It was a Hive meet up of sorts. In Kim's recent post, he talked about how we all met through Hive.
On the day he completed the Open Water Scuba Dive Training Course with , we dropped by
's place for coffee. Later, we found ourselves admiring the landscape as we descended the rocky steps to dip our feet into the water.
It was quiet. Across the sea, the peaks of Dalaguete decided to appear behind the town of Badian. Along with my 6-year-old daughter, Kim, Camille, and I took a slow-paced stroll by the sea, careful not to slip on algae-covered rocks.
The hills of Dalaguete and Badian stretched towards Zaragosa Island
My daughter's pace was too fast for us to catch up as we were preoccupied taking everything in. There were uplifting stories, random observations, thoughts said out loud, and best of all, laughter. It felt good walking together while talking. Comfortable silences as we gazed at the changing sky.
All boats were still. Not one person in sight until we reached the bend where we saw vendors selling afternoon snacks and a few fishermen resting on the shore. This is a typical afternoon walk route for but, we were fascinated by the various scenes we discovered.
There were plenty of subjects to capture and we spent most of the walk snapping away.
We ended up enjoying these views over drinks and a delicious dinner prepared by Camille. It was 's last afternoon and sunset during his stay in Moalboal and there's no better way but to spend it on a Wednesday Walk.
