While I was in Geneva for 5 days and saw the beauty of this city, I took one day to walk around Eaux-Vives Park. There were a few more friends in my group with me.I set off for the Parc Eaux-Vives early in the morning, while the street was still quiet and without much traffic. I wanted to spend a few hours in an area that has long been considered one of the most pleasant places in Geneva to walk. As soon as I approached the entrance, I noticed a wide driveway leading to the central part of the park. That is, to enter the park we passed through a large gate.I continued along the path that gently descended towards the grassy area. Before me was a view of large green plains arranged in a higher level. I watched groups of people sitting on the grass, reading, talking or simply enjoying the silence. I decided to circle half the park and observe each part of it without rushing. The path split at several places, so I chose the one that led to the part with the trees in a dense row. I visited Geneva in October, the autumn month. I couldn't take my eyes off this beauty. Nature, the leaves, everything was in the tone of autumn colors. The only bad thing was that it started to rain. But I continued even though I got wet.
As I descended, I reached a part of Lake Geneva that offered a nice view. I walked along the line that looked out towards the shore, although I stayed within the park's boundaries. From there, you could clearly see the boats passing by and the people moving around on the quay. I stayed for a few minutes to enjoy the view, then continued to the higher part of the park.
The path led me to a large building located in the central part of O-Viva. It is an old villa that has now been converted into a restaurant. There is also a terrace nearby with a good view of the surroundings.I noticed runners zipping along the trail, people walking their dogs, and tourists taking photos.I passed another large grassy area where people were playing various sports. I saw families with children.
The rain started to fall even harder, so we headed for the exit. We returned by another path. We were satisfied with today's walk, aware that Parc des Eaux-Vives is a place I can visit more than once and discover something new each time. And how I wish I had a park like this in my city. Eh...
I hope I was successful in giving advice. Thanks for reading my post
