Hello walkers and friends!
Let's walk towards one last sunrise.
It sounds like the title of a movie, as if it were a challenge or a feat, we simply take advantage of an early morning walk knowing that sunrises from now on will not be the same. Why?
Join me for a shining #WednesdayWalk, in the community hosted by where we share inspiring walks wherever we go... This time a habitual, daily walk, but those usual walks are also always different because the sunlight changes, always changes, its rays more or less powerful, its reflections in the sea more or less brilliant, its play of light with more or fewer clouds, and because each day the sun appears at a different time.
Because nothing is the same, nothing remains and nature constantly teaches us that everything is a cycle, the cycle of life in which everything changes. And now the days are getting longer, they are filled with more hours of daylight, letting us know that we are heading towards summer towards that summer solstice in which we will enjoy the longest day.
But the days are already longer and unless we get up even earlier and earlier the sun will have risen, it will have preceded us, it will be there waiting for us present in the sky, it will be already ready to illuminate our entire bright day.
Thus, in those last walks at sunrise we take advantage of the sun we enjoy the view as it was a time-lapse, we already barely enjoyed that dim multicolored light from dark blue, to light, to soft yellow and to intense orange. The horizon of the sea is the limit, the guide and from there prepared waiting for the big star, for the king of the sky to emerge like from the waters.
While lights around us are getting warmer, the orange filter is invading everything, and the contrast with the palm trees is more evident, they seem black and little by little everything is changing color.
And there it is, the sun appears on the horizon, as a celebrity, we are the ones who are waiting for it for now... it is coming out warning us with its long rays that seem to want to reach us, touch us from far away, crossing the entire sea.
We continue forward because as we advance, the sun also advances but upwards, although in reality also diagonally, we go forward and the sun seems to follow us, placing itself in different positions.
Now it gives a special shine to the sea, later its rays will be more powerful, it is higher and we go a little further into the beach that begins to look more real, more intense, sand and sea, everything looks clearer, everything looks calm.
And there the sun will continue, also when we turn back towards home, there we feel that warmth that embraces us on our backs. That feeling will continue with us but its intensity and color simply vary. From now on, possibly until October, it will be different, we will not be present when the sun wakes up, it will be the sun that wakes us up with its light in our eyes.
We will go out again, for a run, for a walk, and before reaching the sea we will know that the sun will be there, waiting for us to come out, and we will be the ones who follow it on its route through the sky while we make our route on earth, in parallel, looking at the sea, feeling the summer vibes, noticing an increasingly intense heat, smelling the sea air, taking more steps, and more walks, surrounded by rays of the sun that warm and embrace us.
With or without sunrise, there will always be moments full of light and shinning and magical walks, and we will continue walking following the sun. Until a next sunrise...
Thanks for reading! Have a bright and nice day.
Happy Wednesday!
