Now that we are allowed to meet up with one person outside our own household, I'd arranged to meet a pal today. Unfortunately, she was feeling under the weather so I took myself off to a local park. We've had quite a few ducklings, goslings and various chicks this year. Nature has thrived whilst the humans have been on lock down.
The resident squirrel has young ones but well hidden. S/he comes out for food and then scuttles off.
Mallards are quite handsome when you look closely. They're quite common here, so get taken for granted.
Hopefully, my pal might be with me on the next walk.
