Nothing beats a walk in the countryside, especially when the rain is falling.
Somebody's pooch had lost its boot. Dogs are becoming quite well dressed here with their coats and boots.
Walking through the wood, I could hear the sound of the rain hitting the leaves giving off a real earthy smell.
There is an old derelict building here somewhere, which was probably a farm. It was too overgrown today. If I had attempted to get any closer, I don't think I would have found my way back out.
The rain really bought the colour of the moss out against the grey stones of the wall. Even when it's raining hard, everything still looks lovely.
A passerby had left some beautiful red roses on the wall to remember a past loved one.
I did a circular walk coming back along the lane. Unsurprisingly, I didn't see a soul. I expect other people had more sense. It was getting quite gloomy, so I put a spurt on as I didn't want to go back through the wood when it was getting too dark.
As I drove off, I spotted a little robin singing away, sat on the road sign.
