It feels good to be back to engage and explore the serene beauty of my city, a place that holds so much memories, and each time i make it down to this city all i do is to pip my head out the window and just feed my eyes to the beauty and transformation that has taken place over the years….. i left here Two years ago…and am back…come with #wednesdaywalkers….let’s EXPLORE TOGETHER

Portharcourt is the capital city of River state Nigeria, located in the south-south region of the country, it’s one of the oil rich-producing state in Nigeria.
It’s an industrial city, which houses some of the mega oil and gas, petroleum, construction,logistics telecommunications companies in Nigeria
Port Harcourt is a mega city one of the busiest cities in Nigeria after Lagos state, it is a commercial nerve centre of all kinds of commercial activities, import, export, it serves as a connecting rode to the whole of south south Zone in terms of commerce and industries
Port Harcourt is one of The busiest city in this part of the globe,Nightlife here is like the most awesome part of the whole story, the city is bursting to life 24/7 round the clock, it’s almost like the people don’t know what time it is, or they don’t rest a bit
The most amazing part of it is the beauty and serenity of the environment, the Street lights casting an afterglow of golden rays upon the streets and high ways, all the joint, seat outs, bars, nightclubs are all heavily jamed at nights, Areas like Trans Amadi, Garrison, Woji, Artillery, Elekahia, Diobu, Mile 1,2,3&4 are some very busy areas at night.
Crimes at night has been cutdown especially with constant police patrolling to and fro so it’s safe but there’s need for some measure of precautions
This city holds Memories
I basically grew up here, breed from my childhood went thru schools and engage into some part time jobs for few years while seeking for Admission into the university, venture into some part of the city on some quest.
Here’s the place i finished my Elementary school some years back, ….
That’s were my classroom was during my Elementary 6 classes
Few years down the line i got Admíssion into the university that took me out, and most times when i return for holidays i can’t hold back but feel rejuvenated and anew seeing all the renovations, structures that has been set up which makes the city look more magnificent.
so i took a walk round the city...taking some snapshot as i walk
then i took a walk to junction called artillery, were a newly commission bridge was, and i did walk over to take a view of the city from above
Christmas Festive in my City: a walk to Portharcourt pleasure park
It’s a time of the year when Christmas light comes handy and trust me, Portharcourt is no small place, There is a place called pleasure park this place serves as a fun park for families kids friends and loved ones to hangout play games outdoor, indoor, adventure, playground for kids
the place is serene cool and nice christmas party and give aways
entrance to the park heavily guarded, and you have to buy a ticket at the ticket boot to allow entrance- -
since i wasn't allow to go in because of the ticket, i just took some shot outside the parameter fence
the place was well lighted with all Christmas decore, if you’ve been here you would definitely not feel like going home soon, the amusement park has lots of fun-filled activities, for the kids and the entire family and it’s one of our family destination for Chrismas, some images walking around the park
after that decided on heading back home

Dearest it’s a pleasure having me on these platform, i was actually on my journey to Port Harcourt when i found this amazing community, it gives me pleasure to actually talk about my city and to share my experience with a host of like minded individuals, my walk today was really amazing and exciting.
