Happy Wednesday every one!
I want to invite you today for a walk at the old town of Chania. I have talked to you more than once for this lovely place and I have probably mentioned that I have spent a lot of weeks there. And a lot of weeks, inevitably means a lot of pictures :)
The first picture of the post is a panoramic view of the Venetian harbour and it is actually one of the last ones during my walk but I liked it as my cover photo!
I started shooting from the balconies of the hotel. First the view to the Ottoman Baths and then the narrow cute road beneath me! It was May when I took those pictures, the day although it was a bit cloudy, it was gorgeous and the weather absolutely pleasant. The streets were calling me :)
Chania is a highly touristic place. The good thing about that is that everything is well cared and you can see beautiful images practically in every single step. The bad thing is that if you visit it in August you might hate it. I know for myself that I can't stand it but as I said it was May and everything was fine!
Every walk at Chania will eventually lead to the port. Below you can see the same Ottoman Baths I photographed from the balcony, in the beginning and of course the lighthouse and the marina.
Overall a short walk in distance but full of amazing pictures to see and hopefully to catch. I hope you enjoyed it.
This is my contribution to the #wednesdaywalk challenge, initiated by :)
