This wednesday it's Kingsday in the Netherlands. It's a bank holiday to celebrate the birthday of our king (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koningsdag).
Many villages and cities have fairs, flee markets, live music and other activities.
Before joining the activities I went for a walk; a #wednesdaywalk
One of the traditions on Kingsday is hanging out the Dutch Red-Wite-Blue flag and the Orange banner that represents the 'house of Orange'.
It was so quiet in the local park. It's lovely to see how green it's becoming already. The leaves on the trees are still very light.
I'm always amazed by this tree. It probably has a kind of bacteria.
Just one of the nice yellow flowers that were standing along the path in the park.
In the middle of the park there was a sea of tiny purple flowers. They attracted a lot of bumblebees. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me (just my smartphone), so I wasn't able to capture nice close-ups of them.
I did do that a couple of days ago in my backyard by the way; @friendlymoose/backyard-bugs
On my way back along the canal I spotted these two geese with a whole bunch of gosling. I've counted 10 of them in total. They look very cute when they are this small, but they can make quite a lot of noise when they are grown up.
I hope you like my photos.
Have a great day!

Photographing is my passion. Although I like photography in general, nature photography is one of my favourite subjects. I often go out with my camera for a hike to capture the beauty of nature.
I'm sharing my photos on Hive, Noise.Cash & APPICS.
I would love to read what you think of my photos in the comments.
