Taking a pleasure walk is a great routine of my mine I missed doing,
the last time I took a walk around my neighborhood was before my delivery and that was over a month now.
Taking care of my baby and healing from my surgery has been my main focus. So, today I begin to feel great like my old self if not greater🥰.
I decide to take a walk in my neighborhood to see what Lord of the sky has for me. 😅 my mom is attending Funshee Jr, so hubby and I have about thirty minutes to cruise around while I pay attention to any shape or color of the sky that catches my attention.
As we are ushering into a new season, it is the harmattan period over here in Northern Nigeria.
The thick cloudy sky has gradually said bye-bye. The wind speed and intensity have changed, and the sky is gradually becoming less thick although is still blue but the big cloudy sky is going off-site with each day.
This only implies that the rainy season is over. I will deeply miss the cloudy sky but before it is all gone I have to take some time off to go around my neighborhood and take some shots to usher in the harmattan season.
My first shot was this fascinating spider 🕷️ trying to connect his web from a mango tree beside my house to the building block. I love the blue sky as its background.
Leaving my house facing the roads was this beautiful view of the ray of sunset, I did not catch the sunset but I love the traces it left behind.
Moving forward this tree has sunset rays scattered behind it, if only I came out earlier I might catch the sunset itself but I still enjoy the beautiful view.
My favorite shot of the evening walk was this palm tree with a sunset ray of light behind it. I love the formation of the purple and brown colors.
This leafless tree is a perfect sign of the change in the season and that is why it made the list of my today pictures.
Lastly, we came across this fresh-looking mango tree, there are dried leaves on the ground but it still has lots of fresh leave on it.
At this point, we needed to head back home before Funshee Jr will start needing my attention.
It was a beautiful evening walk for us, I did not only feel great and relaxed after the walk but it provide me with a topic to blog about in this week's #Wednesdaywalk.
