Today I’m sharing some photos of a stretch of the inter-municipal highway that connects the city of Barquisimeto with Cabudare.

A few days ago, I took a drive along this major thoroughfare while looking for a spare part for my car.

Lately, the heat in the city has been unbearable because, at this time of year, the sun’s rays hit the earth’s surface at a perpendicular angle, making it feel as if the sun were burning the skin.

That day, the sun was shining brightly, and the sky was clear and cloudless, with very white clouds. I drove along the road from Santa Rosa to the entrance of the riverside avenue. Along that stretch of road is the MINEC, or Ministry of the Environment, whose facade is surrounded by abundant trees.

At that time of the afternoon, there was a not-too-long line of vehicles waiting to fill up at the gas station known as “Barsoque,” where they sell subsidized gasoline and long lines of vehicles are usually seen.

The Intercommunal Avenue is a very busy stretch of road during rush hour, when people leave work and head home to Cabudare. Many heavy-duty trucks traveling to the western part of the country use this route, which is what makes traffic so slow during that time.

At the time I had the chance to drive through there, I noticed there was little traffic, and the trip was quick and safe.
There, I turned onto the riverside avenue and then headed home.

De paso por la avenida intercomunal de Cabudare

Saludos estimados amigos caminantes de esta entretenida comunidad que nos permite conocer el mundo do a través de las imágenes.

Hoy les comparto algunas imágenes de un tramo de la avenida intercomunal que comunica a la ciudad de Barquisimeto con Cabudare.

En días pasados hice un recorrido por esta importante arteria vial de la ciudad, mientras andaba en busca de un repuesto para mi automóvil.

Últimamente ha hecho un calor inclemente en la ciudad debido a que en esta época del año, los rayos del sol llegan en forma perpendicular a la superficie de la tierra y esto hace que se sienta como si el sol quemara la piel.

Ese día había un sol brillante y un cielo claro y despejado con presencia de nubes muy blancas. Pasé por el distribuidor desde Santa Rosa hasta el acceso a la avenida ribereña. Por ese tramo vial se encuentra el MINEC, o ministerio de ambiente cuya fachada está rodeada de abundantes árboles.

A esa hora de la tarde había una fila no tan larga de vehiculos que iban a surtir gas en la gasolinera que conocemos como "Barsoque", donde expenden gasolina regulada y generalmente se observan largas filas de vehículos.

La avenida intercomunal es un tramo vial muy concurrido en horas pico, cuando las personas salen de sus trabajos y se dirigen a sus residencias ubicadas en Cabudare. por allí transitan muchos vehículos de carga pesada que se dirigen al occidente del país y es lo que la hace tan lenta en ese lapso de tiempo.

A esa hora en que tuve la oportunidad de transitar por allí, observé que había poco tráfico y el traslado se hacía en forma rápida y segura.
Alli me desvié hacia la avenida ribereña y luego hasta mi residencia.
