On this occasion, I would like to share with you a walk I took to the west side of the city of Barquisimeto with the purpose of taking a friend to the airport to catch her flight.

A friend and former classmate of my daughter's was visiting my house from San Cristóbal, Táchira state, and had to catch a plane back to her home, so we took her to the airport in the afternoon and I took the opportunity to capture some images along the way.

The most striking thing about the trip was the sunny day with a blue sky dotted with abundant white clouds that adorned our entire journey and gave the photographs a very special touch.

The images also show the route along Ribereña Avenue, which connects Cabudare, where I live, to the airport, with little traffic, which made the trip very quick and safe. The bed of the Turbio River, which runs parallel to the avenue, can also be seen there.

Before arriving at the site, you can see the facade of the flying club, where there is an aviation school for future pilots. You can also see a square with abundant trees and palm trees that give the environment a refreshing feel.

The avenue leading to the airport terminal also has many trees that provide shade for the road and beautify the urban landscape, which is very important for pedestrians who frequent the area.

Miércoles de paseo por el oeste de la ciudad

Saludos estimados amigos de la comunidad que camina todos los miércoles por el mundo: Hive account@wednesdaywalk, espero que estén disfrutando de un excelente comienzo de semana.

En esta oportunidad les quiero compartir un paseo que hice hacia la zona oeste de la ciudad de Barquisimeto con el propósito de llevar a una amiga al aeropuerto para tomar su vuelo.

Una amiga y excompañera de estudios de mi hija estaba de visita en mi casa procedente de San Cristóbal, estado Táchira y tenía que tomar el avión de regreso a su residencia, así que la llevamos en horas de la tarde al aeropuerto y aproveché de captar algunas imágenes en el trayecto.

Lo mas llamativo del paseo fue un día soleado con un cielo azul con presencia de abundantes nubes muy blancas que adornaron todo nuestro trayecto y que le dan un toque muy especial a las fotografías.

Las imágenes muestran también el recorrido por la avenida Ribereña que comunica a Cabudare, donde resido, hasta dicho terminal aéreo, con presencia de poco tráfico, lo cual permitió que el traslado fuese muy rápido y seguro. Allí se aprecia también el lecho del río Turbio que se extiende en forma paralela a la avenida.

Antes de llegar al sitio, se aprecia la fachada del aeroclub, donde existe una escuela de aviación para los futuros pilotos. También se observa una plaza con presencia de abundantes árboles y palmeras que le dan bastante frescura al ambiente.

La avenida que conduce al terminal aéreo posee también abundantes árboles que le dan sombra al camino, además de embellecer el paisaje urbanizado, lo cual es muy importante para los transeúntes que frecuentan la zona.
