It's a Wednesday in the middle of winter, for Melbourne that means cloudless skies but cold temperatures. This is much better for Photography than cloud filled skies or even worse, rain (although that's not about the photos and more about the photographer). So let's see what we found
I love cars and maybe trucks that are tiny, I drive a tiny red convertible, so it's not surprising that I also love Kei Trucks, this little thing is a Suzuki Carry, There is a small sub culture of people and businesses in Australia who are importing these trucks, they are significantly smaller than the giant utes which are driven by people who actually don't need to move anything. This one is for a business that makes and deliveries Ice to resturants. The Japanese writing on it is just for show I assume
One of my favourite buildings in North Melbourne, this is a classic North Melbourne look, this suburb used to be industrial, filled with warehouses, we are just 2km from the CBD of Melbourne so there were plenty of businesses set up around here, but not anymore, so many of these classic warehouses have been converted into houses or apartments, the classic style is to add something on the top, maybe following the pattern of the sawtooth roof, if you can clad it in silver, then all the better.
And Shadows, shadows are always important, and always possible on a nice winter day, this I like a sign of urbanism, parking and trees always a balance.
