Yogjakarta is the Center of special Regional Government in Central Java.
The City of Yogja is already well-know in Indonesia as a City of worship, a city of culture, a city of art, and a tourist city.
One that I visited was Malioboro street, this street is in the center of Yogjakarta city. This road is a road that has been built for along time around 1811-1816, a colonial named Marlborough.
Until now, this road is visited by many tourist, both domestic and foreign tourist. There are many old buildings along Malioboro street, such as market building, museum,shops, palace building and other building.
The length of this road is about 2 kilometers, I tried to walk from the intersection of four to the monument building. Lots to see along this road with various activities.
This road is a one-way vehicle with quite wide pedestrian, so pedestrian are more comfortable with beautiful road ornaments. Facilities such an quite a lot of seating, this road is in the city center and close to tourist destination around here.
Children can be seen wearing uniform school,they will visit various places such as the Fort museum, then to the palace museum. They city of Yogjakarta is ruled by a Sultanate.
The current condition of Malioboro street is better and more organized, transportation to this destination is quite and there are city butes available with bus stop.
Visitors are free to walk and can relex sitting on the pedestrian. Visitors who like shopping for Batik clothes and others on either side of the road lined with shops.
Both clothings stores and food shops for souvenir. I tried to enter the hall way to see a seller of brash accessories that are made of various crafts.
The are several option to take visitors around the city or to tourist destinations, this vehicle uses horses to tow this vehicle. There is also a Rickshaw thst is driven by a motorized engine.
On Malioboro street, there are not only shops and market, there are also hotels, flashlight information centers, and train station, walk on Malioboro street about 40 minutes and the road to monument a building in the form of a monument this monument was built three centuries ago, and was named the "Tugu Yogjakarta" monument of Yogjakarta and as Land Mark of the city of Yogjakarta.
