Inspired by #WednesdayWalk by
All photos featured are from my collection. Wayback Wednesday to our walk to People's Park in the Sky, Tagaytay 2013.
I took the cover photo with the zoom of my digital camera. It was fairly new that time and worked so well. Now, I truly need a replacement, but I'm still saving up for it. Anyway, we're on our third week of lockdown, and at this point, I honestly do not yet see the end of the rainbow. But I do know it is coming. I look forward indeed to better days.
Let me continue on from my travel post yesterday. This was when we decided to visit the People's Park in the Sky. We took a jeepney ride to get there. That's how far we will have to travel to reach it.
Here's another zoom post, so you'll see the structures near the park.
The jeepneys do not reach the top, so we needed to walk some distance to get to the top. See that church? I took this photo on our way up. If you compare it to the zoomed photo, it's the structure before you reach the Doppler radar located at the top of the hill.
That's the Doppler radar! People's Park in the Sky has an interesting story behind it. I'm glad that it was converted into a park that the public could visit and enjoy.
The view at the top is truly fantastic.
What a beautiful view on a lovely summer day! I remember that this was also in late March when we visited many years before.
Taal Volcano in the background. I would say that this Tagaytay City visit paved the way for all our succeeding travel adventures.
See you next time for more #WednesdayWalk. Happy midweek! Keep strivin', do more HIVE-in'.
