On our 3 Days and 2 Nights adventure in a beautiful municipality of Moalboal Cebu one of bucket list we've visited is the pristine "White Beach " or also known as Basdaku*. For everyone's information, Moalboal has two enticing areas that tourists want to visit and explore. If you want to experience the Sardines and Sea Tourtle encounter, Basdiot Area is for you. But if you want to chill on the white sand do sunbathe, the Basdaku area can satisfy you. Or you can visit both just like what we did.
I've been to Basdaku twice already and I explore it more than in Badiot, that's why on our stay in Moalboal I chose an accommodation suited to Basdiot to learn more about the area. Since my friends had never been in the White Beach or Basdaku, I included it in our itinerary so they would experience how beautiful it is.
Road Trip to Basdaku
Badiot to Basdaku area is just sixteen minutes away from each other, you can rent a motorcycle for only 300 pesos per day to explore these two beautiful places in Moalboal Cebu, just like what we did. We rent out a motorcycle, and do some detours and road trips from Basdiot to Basdaku.
It was our second day in Moalboal when we visited the Basdaku area, It was afternoon already when we headed to the beach. By the way, there is a 20 pesos tourism fee when you visit the beach.
Basdaku Beach
In the beach area, I've become their instant tour guide since I've been there already. I show them the beautiful 7-kilometer-long white beach and the pristine and turquoise color of the seawater. They love the fine white sand of the beach.
I tour them around and have a quick walk exploration on the beach so they can learn more about Basdaku. Our walk started in the southern part of the beach where you can see some beachfront resorts and some restaurants. On this side of the beach, the wide sand bar is located where you can set your tent for camping.
In this area also you can play beach volleyball together with your friends and other tourists. Theirs a lot of people on this spot, they love to lie down, sunbathe, and swim in the ocean as well. The water is so inviting but we don't have a plan to deep in on the beach so we don't bring swim gear.
Walking forward, we saw these two dogs also enjoying their moment and the view of the beach. I captured them cause It is nice to see them just like lovers having a date, caring for each other.
Then we reach the beach sand that is starting to narrow, also there are fewer tourists in this area than in the southern part. The resorts on this spot are more cozy and beautiful. Sea wall constructed in the beach is a little distracting but I think It's nice to stay at this resort cause it is charming and the surroundings are silent. you can relax and distress for sure.
On this part, we sit down on the beach, rest, and take a deep breath while looking at the beautiful beach in front of us. This time, realization of our life sinks in and we start talking about our reflection on life after we graduate from college. The experience we've been through and the challenges we overcome.

It's a fast genuine recap of our life but before going into a deeper talk we cut it out and continue our walk cause we just have a little time allotted on this area. On the Northern side, there are more fine resorts and restaurants. After walking for 20 minutes we reach the northern side of the beach.
At the end, you will find the cliff side of the beach and the rocky part. It is the northern tip of the beach Basdaku. It is low tide at that time so you can see widely the sea bed in the shoreline.

Of course, picture taking will not be absent in exploration especially when you have a background like Basdaku Beach. We take some photos for our memories in this pristine area of Moalboal.
