Hi everybody! Today's subject of the Wednesday Walk is the sunset walk by the beach in Brittany.
According to Wikipedia:
Brittany (/ˈbrɪtəni/; French: Bretagne [bʁətaɲ] (listen); Breton: Breizh, pronounced [bʁɛjs] or [bʁɛx];[2] Gallo: Bertaèyn [bəʁtaɛɲ]) is a peninsula, historical country and cultural area in the north-west of modern France, covering the western part of what was known as Armorica during the period of Roman occupation. It became an independent kingdom and then a duchy before being united with the Kingdom of France in 1532 as a province governed as a separate nation under the crown.

Here is a story of my photos:
It was December 2019, after a few days upon arrival in France, my husband and I decided to go out for a walk in the afternoon. Our place is about 30 minutes to go to the beach by car.
As you can see in the photos, I was pregnant for about 28 weeks. It was getting more difficult to walk with a heavy tummy. It was really cold. It was the end of the fall season and the start of the winter season (but no snow yet).
The cold in Europe is not tolerable compared to my experience in Japan. I also didn't have enough winter clothes as I was pregnant. My husband found an old winter jacket from his mom. It was difficult to close the jacket because of my big tummy.
I need to wear 4 layers of clothes. How many times I fell because of my heavy tummy so I was really slow to walk. But it is important to walk daily for a pregnant woman.
Anyway, I enjoyed watching the sunset in the countryside of France. I am happy to see it by the beach. Walking up and down the rocky and steep road was difficult. My husband needed to assist me as I lost my balance.
I never dared to touch the seawater because it was icy cold. Many times I complained about the cold, it really bothered me. Haha! I just wanted to get inside the car and sleep. Or go back home and go to sleep.
The beach reminded me of Nagtabon beach in Palawan as I had the same feeling when I saw the sunset walk by the beach. But the difference, it was really cold here compared to the beach in Palawan.
Also, I was looking for a toilet, and being cold made me feel to go more to the toilet. So difficult life for a pregnant woman. Haha!
So, there I was, sharing with you a story of my struggling pregnancy walk by the beach during sunset in the Brittany area.
This is my entry for the #wednesdaywalk challenge, hosted by .
