Hello Wednesday walkers...
Yesterday we celebrated our 71st town fiesta of Saint Vincent de Paul parish Mangagoy Bislig City. People been busy preparing their foods for lunch. So I'll gonna show you my short walk to different vendors at the street.
(The ukay-ukay shoes)
Are you familiar with this word ukay-ukay?
We usually called it ukay-ukay is derived from the Cebuano verb ukay, which means "to sift through or dig". But technically the English term of ukay-ukay is "dig-dig). In the Philippines is very common for us because we can saved money for it. A preloved clothes also. Some is bedsheet, caps, bags, stuffed toys and a lot more.
While I'm passing in this street a bunch of shoes been hanging and some been displayed at the folding beds. The price is very affordable like 50php...100php..180php.. the hanging shoes ranges at 200 to 500php but all of them is in good condition. I still have a lots of shoes at home so I just take a look only lol.
The seedlings...
Every fiesta this couple been selling a lot of seedlings such as mulberry, durian, mangosteen, magic berry, laurel, jackfruit and a lot more. They have a lot of buyers especially to those people living in a farm. My elder brother Joy just buy seedlings at Davao city last month. Not so expensive if you will buy it into their main area. About 10php per seedling.
This couple been renting the whole place, don't know how much but I'm sure it's quite expensive.
Of all the fiesta sellers this one also is my favorite. They are selling different stuffs for a cheap price. Such as toys, towels for kitchens, plates, glasses, small baskets, purse, brushes and a lot more. People always loved to buy this kind of things for a good price. Just prepare a budget because I'm sure you will buy a lot.
The rain keeps pouring yesterday that Mr. Sun is so shy to rise hehehe. I feel pity to the vendors. People will be lazy to go out same as me. But my sister Josephine ask me a favor to go to Palawan pawnshop.
The carnival for the rides....
It's been so long the last time I've visited the carnival, maybe I'm getting old that's why hahaha. The rides been separated by the games. Their location at the wet market but it's damn traffic their. The small road really occupied by the people who are walking through.
We have a bad weather for the past few days but now we have morning sunshine. What the heckš.
The last one is the different ukay-ukay such as shorts, jeans, pillowcases, bedsheets, pillows and bags. They have a nice prices and I loved the pillows. I'm on tight budget that even a pair of home slippers I didn't buy lol. I still have 3 pairs at home just buy it last year. It's durable, so every fiesta I buyed some, but I'm missed it this year.
