Hello everyone, it's Wednesday, so let's walk together. This is my entry for the #wednesdaywalk challenge, hosted by .
During my stay last week in Poreč, a beautiful city in Croatia on the Adriatic coast, I took the opportunity to take photos for the Wednesday walk. This Wednesday walk was very special. It made me happy because unfortunately, I don't have many opportunities to walk by the sea in a stunning natural environment. So I enjoyed every moment.
Every time I left the hotel, I was amazed by the colorful oleanders and the tree line next to the path I used to go to the beach.
At the entrance to the beach, another long path begins.
On the left side of the path, there is a vast forest that refreshes the air that is breathed deeply here because the smell of the forest makes you breathe deeper and deeper.
On the right side of the path is the Adriatic Sea, which sends other scents that awaken mixed feelings in me. These unique scents remind me of my childhood.
I walked slowly while enjoying the views of the blue soothing shades of the sea.
Next to the path, there are many benches where you can rest while watching the sea and isolate yourself. Just you and your thoughts.
You can go down to the sea by stairs. The surroundings are very clean and well maintained.
There is something that particularly impressed me. I've never seen anything like that before. While I was walking I saw boards with the inscriptions "photo point" and "reading point".
I followed the direction. I didn't get to the "photo point" because I had to return to the beach soon because of my baby, but I got to the "reading point".
It was a special place in the forest arranged for people who want to read in nature.
It looked so peaceful and beautiful. I liked the swings the most. Unfortunately, because of my small children, I didn't have time for this experience, but I know it would be great to relax in a place like this.
All that is beautiful is short-lived, like this walk, but impressions and memories of moments worth remembering remain for a long time.
Thank you very much for reading.
The images and writing are original and mine.
Greetings!
Jelena
