There are many types of exercise as one way of keeping our body healthy. One of those is walking, which is a simple yet effective way of staying fit and healthy. So, this time come and join me as I'm going to unveil one of the tourist spots in Baguio and the most flocked of people, the Wright Park.
A little background of Wright Park
Wright Park is named after the former Governor General of the Philippines, Luke Edward Wright. This park has a frontal view of the Mansion House, the summer palace of the president. The park once became famous for its horseback riding but it stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It reopened after several months of idle but later closed due to a pony outbreak.
The park has a reflecting clear pool-now-a-mossy pool which serves as the front view of The Mansion. The pool stretches about 100 meters and has a unique style which I can't compare to others. It has vibrant green plants adorned on every side of the pool which it's seasonally change flowers. It has been lived some fishes here but I guess I didn't recognize them when I walked here.
This is the front of the mansion where some people dropped for a while and took a picture of the famous black gate of The Mansion in Baguio. No person can get inside for some reason.
Parkgoers really enjoyed the place and so am Iπ
.
As I went along, swaying pine trees, the refreshing cool breeze of the air, and the cozy ambiance of the place were totally great experiences I have this place. The wide entrance and ohhh an old timber formed a circle in the center of the park.
I got intrigued by the structure of the timber and why it was formed like this. It's like a pattern that has something to tell the parkgoers. Or maybe an undone project of the government, hehe just thinking of the possibility. Moreover, the famous place has benches in the center and nearby as well. I believe those timbers were from pine trees because most of the trees here are pine trees.
Wright Park is the RIGHT park for everybody who wants to unwind and have a simple walk.
I thought it was made of cement but when I drew closer, it was all made of wood even the benches and square flower pots. Flower vines extended their arms at the top of the structure as it's like part of the show. Nature finds its way to life.
Sometimes, we have to take a break from the busyness of life. Take a pause. Walk. Breathe.
