Where I come from and live, you certainly don't expect to see luxury things like in urban cities with high levels of modernity. From the outside, perhaps, my place doesn't look much different from a jungle. It sometimes makes me feel embarrassed to show it. But I think this is the point, being here to show differences and diversity. A part that I understand of the meaning of decentralization.
Although it looks like a jungle, and as such rarely gets appreciated, life here is certainly not devoid of civilization. Because nature will not accept people who do not understand it. Nature only accepts those who are civilized and wise. That's the key to sustainability. So, even without the things that many people might prefer to see, I am very grateful that I can still breathe air without pollutants, the oxygen released by various plants, I can still hear the sounds of animals ranging from insects, birds and monkeys in the trees to poultry and livestock. And here are the pictures for my #wednesdaywalk this week.
A dirt road that when it rains will be flooded with water. Dirty your feet but will not reduce your health after washing your feet clean.
You will easily encounter livestock such as calves when walking here. They are kept in gardens and can feed on grass and bushes to their heart's content.
My brother has sown cucumber seeds. It is growing, and will later be moved to the place where it will be planted. This stage of work is to make it easier to care for plants when they are still just growing.
Now, I arrived at the river that flows in our village. From the river, water is channeled to the rice fields and from there the water is also lifted to water plants and even trees when there is a lack of rainfall. The river water is murky because it seems like the upstream river is flooding and carrying silt which provides fertility for agricultural land in the downstream area.
The pictures after this are various wild plants growing in the river, from between the stones and river mud. You also see the other bank of the river, and a plant with its tiny red flowers, but its fruit can be intimidating.😅
That's all for now.🙂
