Since the former zoo in the city of Buenos Aires was reconditioned, day after day it is filled with visitors wanting to walk through one of the most important green spots in the city. This large park has an entrance at each end, so if you have to go from one avenue to the other for some reason, going inside and seeing some animals as you pass is a great option. Desde que reacondicionaron el ex-zoológico de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, día tras día se llena de visitantes con ganas de pasear por uno de los puntos verdes más importantes en la ciudad. Este gran parque tiene una entrada en cada punta, por lo que si tenes que ir de una avenida a la otra por algún motivo, ir por su interior y ver algunos animales al pasar es una gran opción. I don't have any reason to visit the city every day, but every once in a while I like to go for a walk in those parts because they have created great public spaces that are worth enjoying. My last visit to the Ecopark was last year, when my cousin and I organized a walk for the children to have fun and see the animals, but this time I went alone to the center because I needed a moment alone with my thoughts. There are those who find it difficult to walk alone but I like solitude from time to time 😊.
No tengo ningún motivo para visitar la ciudad todos los días, pero cada tanto me gusta ir a pasear por aquellos lados porque han hecho grandes espacios públicos que merecen la pena disfrutar. Mi última visita al Ecoparque había sido el año pasado, cuando mi prima y yo organizamos un paseo para que los niños se diviertan y puedan ver a los animales, pero esta vez fui sola al centro porque necesitaba un momento a solas con mis pensamientos. Hay quienes encuentran difícil pasear solos pero a mi me gusta la soledad de vez en cuando 😊.
When I left home my main objective was to go to El Rosedal de Palermo, because finally I was going to be able to see the bushes full of roses and that's how it was. But when I got off the subway, I had to walk 1 km to get there, and in the middle of that road was the option of going down the avenue or entering the Ecopark, which with its double entrance, brings you closer to the same place. Of course, I chose the second option: the day was beautiful and all the vegetation was shining, so it was impossible not to take some photos ❤️.
Cuando salí de casa mi objetivo principal era ir hasta El Rosedal de Palermo, porque finalmente iba a poder ver los arbustos llenos de rosas y así fue. Pero cuando bajé del subte, tenía que caminar 1 km hasta llegar hasta allá, y en el medio de ese camino estaba la opción de ir por la avenida o entrar al Ecoparque, que con su doble entrada, te acerca hasta el mismo lugar. Por supuesto, elegí la segunda opción: el día estaba hermoso y toda la vegetación brillaba, así que fue imposible no tomar algunas fotos ❤️.
The Buenos Aires Ecopark used to function as the city zoo, but a few years ago it was refurbished and some animals were returned to their natural habitats. Not all of them were able to do it because they were already quite domesticated, or some of them were very old, so they still remain here to receive care and food. Some animals are in closed enclosures but many others roam free among people, such as some maras, ducks, peacocks and other birds. The experience of being in contact with the animals is good, people are quite respectful of this and the park keepers keep everything in order 😃.
En el Ecoparque de Buenos Aires antes funcionaba el zoológico de la ciudad, pero hace algunos años fue reacondicionado y algunos animales devueltos a sus hábitats naturales. No todos ellos pudieron hacerlo porque ya estaban bastante domesticados, o algunos de avanzada edad, por lo que aún permanecen aquí para recibir cuidados y alimentos. Algunos animales están en recintos cerrados pero otros tantos andan libres entre la gente, como algunas maras, patos, pavos reales y otras aves. La experiencia de estar en contacto con los animales está buena, la gente es bastante respetuosa con esto y los cuidadores del parque mantienen todo en orden 😃.
This park has about 18 hectares and walking from end to end can take about 15 minutes if you don't stop for a walk. This time is just a bit longer than if you went straight down the avenue parallel to the park, so it's worth going in and seeing some animals in the meantime. I did the whole tour with my headphones on, I took my time to walk and take photos: the good thing about walking alone is that you manage your own times and relax, so I do this quite often ❣️.
Este parque tiene unas 18 hectáreas y caminarlo desde punta a punta puede tomar unos 15 minutos si no te detenes a pasear. Este tiempo es apenas un poco más que si fueras todo derecho por la avenida paralela al parque, por lo que vale la pena entrar y ver algunos animales en el mientras tanto. Yo hice todo el recorrido con mis auriculares puestos, me tomé mi tiempo para caminar y tomar fotos: lo bueno de pasear solo es que manejas tus propios tiempos y relajarte, por lo que hago esto bastante seguido ❣️.
This park is located in the Palermo neighborhood, the largest green space in the city, so you cannot miss it. Admission is free, there are guided tours and you can bring your own food to sit somewhere and have lunch. It is an ideal walk to do with children, so that they get to know the animals and learn about them, but adults also enjoy it. I'm glad that the city of Buenos Aires has these proposals that day after day attract visitors from all over, even those from the city itself who seek to have a good time in nature 😃.
Este parque se ubica en el barrio de Palermo, el gran espacio verde en la ciudad, por lo que no podes perdertelo. La entrada es libre y gratuita, hay visitas guiadas y podes llevar tu propia comida para sentarte en algún lado y almorzar. Es un paseo ideal para hacer con niños, para que conozcan a los animales y aprendan sobre ellos, pero los adultos también lo disfrutan. Me alegra que la ciudad de Buenos Aires tenga estas propuestas que día tras día atraen a visitantes de todas partes, incluso los de la propia ciudad que buscan pasar un buen rato en la naturaleza 😃.
