Hello Friends, and thank you for your visit!
ππ»ββοΈβΊοΈππ»ββοΈ
It is #wednesdaywalk #19 of 2026, and I wanted to do something "different" and go someplace I don't go often and that place is "Padre Island". They never re-paved the beach roads, etc. I went where I normally go and said "Naaaa"... I would surly get stuck, so I went up the beach a mile or so and came to this area. At least the sand is packed!
So here on the beach like every hundred feet or so there is these stations,
They give you info on conditions and, see the little box with the Circular top? There is extra trash bags in them, if needed. Trashing the Beach is not allowed and besides the law - you will have people on you long before they get there - though they do patrol regularly!
This is another view North up the Shoreline and you can see there is trash cans every 50 feet or so - no excuse!
This is a look South down the Shoreline. Soon the one guy in the chair will be the only one left,
This is a look out to the Gulf,
And another look North, you can see it is a little crowded!
Here way out there (a few miles) there are Oil Rigs. I couldn't get a good photo due to distance,.but wanted to show them anyways!
Some typical what we call here "Salt Life" with a child doing a serious "No-No"! You have to wonder about the "Parents".?.? The boy is fishing - not allowed on this beach!
And now on to a few more interesting things!
Driving to the Beach I came across this,
And a little closer,
Very interesting! So I took a look at the front side and saw this!
Someone spent some time on this, and left it for the rest of us to see!
Awesome Sand Sculpture!
A Pelican Patrol flew over, call these birds "Dive Bombers"! They are also a bit slimmer then the Pelicans over on my Island,
And then something is coming from the North down the Shoreline!
Here it's getting closer,
It's a motorized Kite coming down the beach - also illegal
Here it got a side draft, and that is exactly why it is illegal, imagine it being blown in to people on the beach!
Here he turned,
And headed back up the Shoreline,
And remember the guys in the chairs? Here is the only one left,
And then I headed home. I didn't want to get a bunch of sand in the vehicle. Actually I left the house heading for a Parking Lot, so I already did enough,
I was happy that I left with no incident and didn't get stuck at all - or throw around a lot of sand!
And that was my #wednesdaywalk this week, I want to thank you again for your visit - "Stay Blessed, Safe, and Happy"!
