I was so thankful when the clock struck five in the afternoon as it was the time for me to go home from work. I was so sleepy as I got engrossed browsing social media the other night, so I slept late. Maybe due to sleepiness, I didn't notice that I was riding an FX ( public transportation) on a different route. It was too late, so I had no choice but to take a walk earlier to our office building. It takes me more or less 10 minutes. It was still early, so I took the time walking and passed by in this alley.
This reminds me of the Santa Cruzan festival; that tube where bougainvilleas lie that shape like an arc. Imagine if it's summertime and flowers are in bloom. I was half smiling was passing by, well I haven't experienced joining that festival though.
That's how my morning goes and the usual routine at work. Now time to pack up and start to walk, going back to the dorm.
Like the other days, I was with my officemates as I wouldn't say I don't like walking alone now after hearing some news. I felt not safe.
There are also several people walking like us, and since the pathway is not spacious, we have to stop sometimes and give way. While standing, I smelled something unpleasant, and when I turned around, I saw this.
I cannot help but feel sad about the effect of human irresponsibility! Though the local government launched some programs for a cleaner environment, I don't think so this will be rehabilitated.
We continued our walk, but one of my companions complained he was already starving, so we all agreed to drop by Capitol Commons Estancia. Just about fourteen minutes walk from our office and thirty from our dorm.
There are a lot of good restaurants in that place as sometimes we even spotted some local celebrities. Perhaps it is because there was a mall where they could shop for branded clothes and groceries. Also, there are a lot of condominium units nearby that probably they are occupants.
In the center of a place there was provided space were everyone could jog or exercise or even bring their dogs for a walk. I also visited this area when I wanted to run, and perhaps I'll be sharing it next time.
picture was taken the other day when I take a walk going in our dorm.
It was almost twilight when we decided to eat as we roamed inside the mall, window shopping. No, not in restaurants but outside where there is some food kiosk. I was thinking of having some barbeques.
Since it rains earlier, there are only a few customers and foods. No tables are set up, only this metal bench that are permanently placed. No barbeque too. I think many chose to go straight in their homes as it was cold plus the inconvenience may encounter.
On the other side, there was a local singer performing. She sang " You are my sunshine" that's what only I remember and several English songs.
While listening, I was roaming around to check what food to buy, but since there were only limited choices, I settled with this pasta and pizza combo.
I also bought some fresh juice for drinks. Forgot to bring my tumbler with me.
We stayed there for an hour, enjoying our food and the fresh air. The thought that we will only be resting upon reaching our dorm, so we are not in a hurry to go home.
Yet tiny droplets of water started to fall from the sky; we decided to pack up. We don't want to catch a cold. Our Boss is strict; we are not allowed to report to work if we have colds and coughs.
The lights were already on and a little dark, so it was better to go home. We still need to walk for at least half an hour to stretch those muscles after long hours of sitting.
That's how my day ends; happy Wednesday, Hivers!
This is my entry in sir Wednesday walk.
