It was Wednesday yesterday:) Today I invite you to my secret place, which I will not name or mark on the map. Why? I don't know, this is our tradition. My friend discovered it a long time ago for me. At least once a year, we go here with two girlfriends to relax and chat.
This time I had no certainty that I would join the company. There were some problems with my car and with the cats, but everything ended well.
And now I see a familiar magical landscape. Pine trees, a lake, small funny houses made of wood. Time has frozen here in the 70s of the last century... And that's great! Although sometimes old furniture and creaky floors annoy me. But few people know about this place and that is its positive.
First, the girls treated me to sandwiches and a delicious Fragolino drink. We swam in the lake, although the water was cool. But the lake is the most important thing for me, because there are very few bodies of water in my village. The girls admitted that their acquaintance boys should come to us later to grill kebabs. This surprised me a bit, as I had planned to just relax in silence after a few stupid days.
My soul called me to the forest and to the hill where I always like to walk. Wow, today is Wednesday, I thought. And there is a great opportunity to join the initiative #wednesdaywalk by .
When guests came to us, I separated myself from the noisy company and went for a walk alone. I decided that it would be quite reasonable and appropriate:)
This forest is very, very similar to my native forest. Pines and beeches grow nearby and a pleasant coniferous aroma reigns around. My thoughts immediately became brighter and problems receded into the background. And near the forest, a pleasant surprise awaited me in the form of a sweet blackberry. Many berries have not yet ripened, but I found large ones and ate to my heart's content.
Later, I saw in the distance a tall spruce with a cross, surrounded by a wooden fence. We often put such crosses at crossroads or somewhere in the field. There are beautiful flowers growing nearby and I decided to rest a little. The road that crosses this low hill leads to neighboring villages or to new areas of the forest. It's very interesting here, because you never know what awaits you behind the next climb or descent.
But yesterday I didn't have much time, the sun was constantly rolling down. And my friends were waiting for me.
I suggest you just admire these views and feel the evening summer mood...
