Hi all, as the world is reopening, what have you been doing and experiencing lately?
Last week was a special time when we (in Da Nang - a big tourist city) welcomed a big amount of tourists returning to our city after covid. I met so many international tourists, made a few new cool friends. Life is getting super busy again. This vibe is absolutely exciting.
As I guessed, things change a lot at this moment. A lot of people come in and many come out as well. These days, getting so busy with work, the only thing I enjoy is to walk along the beach alone after work to watch people, take some photos, and get really deep into my own thoughts.
Let's enjoy this holiday vibe from last week with me here while reading some words I took out from my head last night 🤗
Years of being alone experiencing, learning and fixing things, letting my mind go across the oceans and continents... not only I've been enjoying this bitersweet journey so much, I also finally feel like I'm blooming to be the most vibrant version of myself ever.
Do you know you're reading this from a pure Vietnamese girl in her 20s, born and grew up in a countryside, parents are pure farmers, and she has never been outside of Vietnam?
"The sky is not the limit, your mind is" - I love this quote on a picture on the wall at my friend's.
These days when the world reopens, I started to put myself out there into this new world, started making new friends and connections, fully open to take things in with a new mindset and a sweet heart maintained. I do experience stronger level of emotions and knowledge, stronger than ever. A lot of fun and sad things happened lately. A lot of smiles and also heartbreak for sure... I found out whatever way we are, we do attract same things/people with same mindset. That's the best reward ever!
We gotta stop asking ourselves: Why/How can this person do this to me? (Victim game)
Instead, ask: If I take actions, what do I really deserve? (Victor game)
The victim question - It's soooo bloody hard to not ask. When I'm heartbroken I ask myself that too, especially when we get hurt from people we care and love, who used to spend the most beautiful words for us.
And afterall, I never find the answer to that question if someone won't come back and communicate. Waiting hopelessly in silence is a form of being emotionally abused. So, stop it!
There're ways of getting deep into something.
Not mentioning "deep to be drama" - no please 😆
Here I mean, the deeper we can dive into something, the more we understand it, understand the process, and the better we can simplify it 🙂
" Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication" - Here's another extraordinary quote.
But why not deep and fun at the same time? 😍
I met people who I can sit and talk for 4 hours non-stop, super deep conversations and we feel like talking to ourselves in the mirror! We don't try to win points. We communicate, we exchange ideas and resonate with each other. We dive all the way in and we laugh all the way out! And the more I learn, the younger I feel 😀
This, I feel like I've found another version of myself from many different people in the last few months, not just one!
How many soulmates do you think we can find in this life?
I believe more than one! Of course!
Maybe just one at a time. But this one goes and another one will come!
But really don't hold on to something that's gone and seems clueless. Don't consciously wait for a change!
I believe that each of us is a train in this life
We keep moving forward, but we do stop by stations
We pick up people on our journey and serve them our special services we've got in passenger coaches. Different people stay in different compartments get different services.
We stop because we like them and want to let them get on. They can make decision to get on or not.
Maybe they want to... but they haven't gathered their baggage for a long ride yet. Or they have gathered their baggage but their mind is not ready for a big jump yet...
Or they have got both, but they still have other responsibilities to prioritize in life?
Whatever it is, the train leaves when it comes to time.
If we don't have someone we like getting on, we'll have the next passenger!
If someone misses our train, they can always catch up with the next train and maybe they'll like that one more!
Maybe we're too afraid of loose something we really like, so we focus on trying to hold on to it though it's not meant to be, so we miss out lots of other cool things out there?
Or maybe we're afraid of missing out lots of other cool things out there, so we never want to commit to one thing and build it up to experience it in a real deep level?
Anyway, who says I have too much words? Haha. It's all about right time and right situation to speak out loud. In fact, the more I master my speaking skills from tour guide job, writing skills from writing job, singing skills from playing rhythm guitar... the more I want a partner to sometimes we just look at each other in silence, no words, just smile, and naturally want to make each other happy ❤
For whatever reason, with the movement of this universe, if we had missed each other in this life, I hope to see you in the next life. And the one who stays and communicates... 😇 of course wins the best reward!
Who knows the answer? Maybe it's blowing in the wind 😉
Thank you for being here today! Hope some of these spirits make your day 😊
