Oh I would say these are the most beautiful rare sunny days ever in this rainy season!
Everyday waking up to the rain, the dark, the cold, wet, oh that's a gloomy combo haha! π
So these days, when the combo of sunshine, blue sky, blue ocean is back to us, I call it "The Reunion of Father Sun and Mother Ocean" π
Am I too dramatic or I just have an artistic soul? π

Hola Wednesday!
How are you getting ready for Christmas? I believe that the Christmas vibe is all around now!
And no matter where you are from, I hope you're having a good time with your loved ones.
One more thing to mention here is The Wednesday Walk Community. As I'm a newbie on Hive, I started posting here only 2 weeks ago. But I really enjoy the friendly vibe here. And all things you all bring to the community are very casual but very inspiring, beautiful, and lots of times they are incredibly awesome work!
I love how I can share random stories of my walk here since I love walking around a lot, anytime anywhere I feel like. Sometimes I ride my motorbike somewhere far away, find a place to park the bike, then I'll still walk haha
Today I did not ride, but in such beautiful weather (rare sunny days) in Da Nang - our lovely and gorgeous beach city - I was sitting on my laptop reading some comments on Hive, and my friend suddenly showed up and trying to pull me out of my apartment. I was like: you know what? I know it's very tempting outside, but I decided to do some work on the computer today!
Humm, yeah! I sound tough, but nooo! I could not help but jumping right on the street with Cookie my sausage baby dog! π
And this is time to take you to one of the most beautiful beaches on this planet at sunset time!
MY KHE BEACH - DA NANG CITY - VIET NAM
With a coastline of 35km long from Hai Van Pass to Non Nuoc, Da nang is one of the most beautiful coastal cities in Vietnam. Closed to the city center (5km), the most popular beach My Khe is the common name of the coastline lasted 10km from the base of the Son Tra Peninsula to the Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son). It's just 5km to get here from Da Nang city center and 25km from Hoi An.
My Khe Beach is famous for its blue sky, smooth white sand, gentle slope, clear & warm water year round and beautiful areas surrounded by coconut trees. Everything around you is peaceful, natural, relaxing, that's why Forbes Magazine selected My Khe beach as βone of the most attractive beaches on the planetβ title. This recognition was given after an endless effort of the government and the Da Nang Lifesaving Association in keeping the beach clean, safety for visitors, free admission for tourists, great accommodations...etc. Moreover, My Khe beach was commended as one of 10 most popular beaches in Asia by The Sunday Herald Sun of Australia.
[An interesting note for you is during wartime (1960's), My Khe beach was called "China Beach". I personally don't like that name because the beach obviously in Viet Nam haha π]
The interesting thing is during our summer, you just hold up your phone and I promise it's hard for you to take a bad photo of the beach!
Yep! I'm serious! π
But we have been in winter, cold, rainy, the sun rarely comes out. So on days like the last 3 days, you can't imagine how happy we are and how many people running out on the streets, to the beach - And we'll do anything we can to stay outside.
Not so busy today but everyone was having a good time
Today is not the day that the sky was the clearest, but it was one of the most beautiful days in awhile.
The temperture was around 23C in the afternoon - sunny - chill - This is my most favorite weather ever. During summer you would get burned out on the beach when it is 39C haha π
I came at around 4:30PM. The peak time of people coming and doing outdoor actitives. During summer, there would be hundreds people playing volleyball, football, and other sports. Today is probably a bit cold for that, but you know what I saw? The expat guys surfing haha π
That's a lovely family of my friends there. I enjoy just going to the beach watching dad, mom and babies playing together! ππ
Started to play with Panorama on my phone haha
The cool thing about me not bringing my camera is I can start exploring more features of my phone.
It's a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus. Been using it for almost 2 years but still more to learn about it π
Now is time for a chain of photos that I really like!
Humm.... are you one of those people who are like me, who can see the difference in every single photo bellow? π
That's always a nightmare whenever I edit my photos and try to pick ones to post because I can see the difference in every single detail of each photo haha π€£
These guys just finished surfing!
I met one of my friends there before I left and his skin all turned red because he was too cold!
I actually believe that it's a healthy way to train your body to be stronger in different conditions of the environment π
Just make sure you are well-prepared haha
Do you love waves? I can sit there and just watch the movement of the waves all day! π
The cloud was pretty cool today. From far away, what you see is Son Tra Peninsula with Monkey Mountain! That is where I often go for day trip.
My Khe beach where I'm standing is where you can see beautiful sunrise, and Son Tra is where you find the gorgeous sunset! π
Across the beach behind that building is the street to lead back to my home.
Those buildings are in pretty cool shapes. I have never seen anyone living in there. Not just because of Covid, I think it has been empty for a long time!
One thing to honor this spot on the beach - This is my everyday-spot to come visit my mother Ocean. I live only 300 meters from the beach and these years she really heals me and helps keeping the peace in my soul. She is also my inspiration to make music and do more photography as well.
I'll bring you back here another day in summer and by then you'll see My Khe beach in a totally new outfit!
Right now - today - it is the most beautiful in this rainy cold season and it makes me appreciate more the power of the father Sun! π
Before ending this post! Oh hey look what I got!
I went straight to the local market and got all of these for $1.2 - 2kg of tropical fruits!
Seriously! I'm so inlove with local markets haha
See you next week on my Wednesdaywalk post!
Hope you enjoy my walk today and may all things you want to do for today turn beautiful too!
Cheers!
