It’s a pleasure to greet you all and to be back sharing with you in this wonderful community. Today I’d like to tell you some more stories from my walks and how wonderful it is to go hiking in one of Venezuela’s most beautiful mountains: Terepaima National Park.
On this occasion, our group of friends was joined by a new group of friends who knew a different route through Terepaima National Park, where we were able to see various types of abandoned houses high up in the mountains.
The walk along that route was quite pleasant, as it wasn’t a difficult path, so we just took it easy. As there were quite a few of us, we enjoyed chatting and listening to the stories everyone had to tell.
We saw some lovely houses that had been abandoned, and in one of them there was a rose apple tree. One of the lads with us went into the house, picked the fruit from the tree and gathered rose apple for the whole group. We enjoyed eating that delicious fruit whilst having a pleasant chat, punctuated by jokes and laughter.
At the end of the road there was a huge, abandoned house. We went inside, and to be honest, it was pretty creepy. There were strange paintings on the walls that looked like some sort of ritual. It was quite unnerving being there. We left straight away because the place was so terrifying. The only photo we took was of the whole group of friends after we’d run out of that house of horrors.
This new walk was quite interesting, as the group of friends who have been walking and hiking together for years was joined by this new group of friends, which made the experience much more enjoyable. And so, amid jokes and laughter, we had a wonderful adventure.
I hope you enjoyed this new route on our walk. Warm regards.
