Another Wednesday and another tiring day, because of our class schedule. The school hours begin at eight am, and ends at 5 pm. After class, my friends and I decided to go for a walk, because it felt like our heads are gonna blow up.
We've been listening to the various discussions since morning from different professors.
They gave us instructions about the requirements for our incoming final examination, and we are all exhausted. We have group projects and individual projects to comply to be able to take the examination.
After class, we started walking without any proper destination, we just want to walk away from our responsibilities for some time. It felts amazing; breathing a fresh air, watching the sky slowly getting dusky, and observing the appearance of the moon.
It was a lovely evening. It felt nice. It was filled with laughter, not a forced one, but a genuine laughs.
We began to feel a pain in our feet, but we did not stop, we continue walking, and telling stories for us to forget that our feet are hurting.
We did not mind our sweats, we laughed until our stomach's hurts. We've thrown jokes to each without hurting each other's feeling.
We talked about life, and suddenly I got lost in my own world, and questions the air "What if I am not in the future I keep on worrying about?" And it hits me so hard.
I felt scared for a moment, and one of my friend snapped me, and I am back to reality. And thought that,it is what it is, whatever happens in the future as long as I am enjoying in the present it's fine, I don't have to worry about the things that aren't happening yet, I just have to continue, and I just have to do my best today, so that I won't going to regret anything.
On the way home, one of us, had pushed the doorbell button of someone's house that we didn't not know, they ran fast, but I didn't catch up, my head is still floating, and they laughed at me for not realizing things out, and I just smiled.
We had fun, so much fun, and somehow forgot the bunches of academic activities that are waiting for us at our dorms.
Those few hours taught me a lesson—it is really important to take a pause no matter how busy and exhausting our day is going. There is nothing wrong about taking a rest for some time.
