While doing some errands in my city, I quickly passed through the old town, enjoying such a pleasant view.
I really do not remember how long I had not come to this part of my city, the historic center of Barquisimeto, it is located in the center of my city, in a few blocks there are a large number of historical monuments, one of the main monuments that we find here It is the Barquisimeto museum, which in its beginnings was the charity hospital.
I remember when I was a child, my father used to take us every Sunday to delight ourselves with everything we could observe there, one of the things I always remember was a stuffed crocodile which was several meters long, I don't remember how many but at least it occupied the two room size.
I can only imagine the person who got this animal, only with the impression to see it I assure you that it killed from a heart attack, I also remember that there were many implements that the indigenous people used in very ancient times, truly they were unforgettable moments.
Diagonal to this is the Jacinta Lara headquarters, which currently functions as the art center of the Lisandro Alvarado Central Western University.
In these blocks we also found the Concepcion Church, the old cathedral of Barquisimeto, and one of the oldest in my city. It is incredible that so much history and cultural heritage is enclosed in just one part of my city.
This part of my city is where all legal procedures are most concentrated and that is why a large number of people come every day, all its streets, corners and facades were restored a short time ago, filling them with color and making them very striking.
Between colors and decorations you are enjoying the visit to the Historic Center of Barquisimeto, this offers us a unique experience, which allows us to admire the beauty of the historic buildings that are part of the collective memory of my beautiful city.
