This time I wanted to do something a little different, so I am going to visit a typical town in my state, and as I could not miss, my dog Hanna will also join us today!
Esta vez quise hacer algo un poco diferente, por lo que voy a visitamos un pueblito típico de mi estado, y como no podía faltar, mi perrita Hanna también nos acompañará hoy!
On the sides of the street there are several houses that sell typical Andean sweets, such as cocadas, or cakes and quesillo, which the latter is like a flan, typical of Venezuelan food.
A los laterales de la calle hay varias casitas que venden dulces típicos andinos, como pueden ser las cocadas, o tortas y quesillo, que este último es como un flan, típico de la comida venezolana.
As it could not in these small towns, they have a central church in front of the main square. Its design is striking with its stone walls and large wooden doors, although it was closed for the day.
Como no podía en estos pueblitos pequeños, tienen una iglesia central al frente de la plaza principal. Su diseño es llamativo con sus paredes de piedra y puertas grandes de madera, aunque estaba cerrada por el día.
There is also a very nice boulevard, where they sell crafts, some works of art and even traditional liquors of the region, jajaja.
También hay un boulevard muy bonito, donde venden manualidades, algunas obras de arte y hasta licores tradicionales de la región, jajaja.
I ordered a creamy liqueur called cream punch, more traditional for the Christmas season, a bit similar to the eggnog they drink in the United States, but here it is more typically drunk.
Pedí un licor cremoso que se llama ponche de crema, más tradicional para las fechas navideñas, un poco parecido al ponche de huevo que toman en Estados Unidos, pero aquí es tomado más típicamente.
There are other ways to hang out, like go karts or horses.
Hay otras formas de pasar el rato, como carros go kart o caballos.
The town is somewhat small, but it is quite crowded, in a few minutes we can go through it completely and it is a good solution to spend a morning or an afternoon.
El pueblito es algo pequeño, pero es bastante concurrido, en pocos minutos lo podemos recorrer completo y es una buena solución para pasar una mañana o una tarde.
