Happy Wednesday #Hivers and #PhotographyLovers !
I love everyday of the week, but there's something extra special about Wednesdays.
Maybe it's because I was born on a Wednesday, in the month of the hottest summer in the UK's history.
Yes! JULY 1976!
Anyway, today is a far call from a hot summer day, but I'm feeling energetic as I sprung out of bed.
I had a glass of ambient water before doing my Five Animal Qigong, and then an invigorating hour of pool aerobics before breakfast.
The Sky Opens up, but my #WednesdayWalk is a priority
Waking up to the view of the ocean does something to me...something irresistible!
I give in, and wander on.
Standing outside my house on the seafront of Moalboal Bay, I look across at the inviting waters and decide that today I'll walk along the sea leading to Moalboal Town Centre.
As anticipated, there's something out of the ordinary! To me at least.
A "Cow" Wash
If you can't swim with dolphins, I guess cows will do
OKAY THEN!
Treading along the slippery paths, I carefully navigate my way through mangroves.
I'm a little out of my comfort zone I admit.
Then I spot 6 black birdies...and I know everything is gonna be alright! (Double Luck)
Moalboal Town Centre is near in-sight
Ignoring threatening barks from a pack of stray dogs, I'm relieved to hear kids splashing in the sea, which means I'm almost there at the town centre.

Moalboal Seaside Town
Back On Land
ALL IS WELL SO FAR!
Strolling through the market, I pass tricycle drivers queuing up, eagerly looking for passengers.
I then spot this traditional native Filipino house, with curtains that look like a rainbow on a cloudy day.
Hmm, this sparks my interest, so I take some photos of other Filipino houses.
How the Other Half Lives
Someone likes Pink
This has got to be the coolest house in Moalboal. All these tress around this house surely acts as a sun shield and keeps the house cooler, I believe.
Carbon Dioxide Overload
It's almost 2 hours, and I'm feeling exhausted now.
I love the smell of rain, but sometimes in the tropics, the after smell of rain, mixed with the heat that comes from the road, adds to the humidity.
I return home via my normal route along the street, and as I walk by the lush green Nipa fields, I stop to have a soulful moment.
As I do my tree pose, I remind myself to embrace every day as it comes, and learn to sway with the wind, but keep myself strongly rooted and grounded.
Thanks for reading.
Have a fantastic Day Peeps!
So Long! Till my next blog!
