Hello friends!
Hope you all are good and enjoying your weekend. I'm also good and enjoying weekend with family.
Some days ago i visited to a temple in bhuj. Which is One of the famous temple of bhuj and most expensive also. I'm taking about a Hindu temple named Shri Swami Narayan temple which is situated in the heart of bhuj, Gujarat. It took approx one hour to reach there from our place.
That day wheather was clean and pleasent, so me and my husband decide to go to the bhuj. In the way we decided to go that temple. This was the first time when i visited to this temple. And this decision turned out good. In our way we enjoyed farms and wind mill view which is characteristic of this route.
We reached there in the evening, that time sun was about to set.
This is the entry gate of the temple. This is huge and architecture is so perfect. Look how beautiful it is 😄
While entering i captured first picture of the temple. This is the first picture.
The outside area is big enough, almost spread in 5 acres.
Temple looks like white Lilly.
Before entering the temple we can enjoy beautiful fountain view.
This temple is a architectural masterpiece. Made with white marble.
Which attracts devotees. It took seven year to complete the temple.
Temple has 258 carved pillars. These pillars are made with pure marble.
Floor are also decorated with beautiful paintings like this:
It is said that temple was built by Narayan dev in 1822. But the 2001 earthquake destroyed the temple . But idols remain safe. So in 2010 a new temple was constructed. This is the new temple.
New temple was built near the old temple and idols shifted in the new temple.
In this temple there are many idols including radha Krishna.
As i said it was evening time. While circling the temple back side we witnessed sunset. I captured some picture of sunset. Which you can enjoy here.
After Darshan we set there for a while. At that time temple lighting was also start. In the night temple looks extremely beautiful. This is the picture of lighting temple.
The lighting colour keep changing which attract the devotees.
We also enjoyed that view and after receiving so much blessings we left for home.
In a nut shell it turned out one of the best walk for us. Where we find peace, beauty, blessings and love. This temple is a architectural masterpiece.
