This was excessive... but yes, my mother and I walked all that way you see on the map. Funny thing is, it's a normal route for me, or was... when I used to walk a lot.
(The route in this link)
Although on the map we go through the Sala Polivalente Ramón Font. We did not have to make that turn that you can see there.
😐
{Thinking} ...
I'm omitting here the four long blocks that we have to walk when leave the house and then about 10 more minutes of walking to get down to Boyeros Avenue, but you'll see that a little bit at the end, because that same thing has to be done on the way back.
{It was excessive, yes}
I feel like I need to get back into the walker's routine. Because when we got home I was knocked out, but she was not. 71 versus 43... nothing, 😁 that's just silly. But these 43 aren't actually in very good condition.
All these thoughts make me laugh. And so was our walk, a walk full of laughter and jokes. So we can conclude that by walking and laughing, the rest can be taken care of later.
Now, let me tell you a little about what happened at each stop. I'll let my thoughts flow through the images I keep in my gallery and maybe you'll find some entertainment here, or wisdom. Who knows? You're also free to abandon the ride and take other routes. We already know that in this #Blockchain the paths can become infinite.

🤐 Bad news. I was so entertained that I hardly took any pictures, but I did take some evidence of the event in this post. So I'll show you a side street, as we were walking down Zapata Avenue.
It's wonderful to walk with my mother, so many topics to talk about, I don't like to be doing nothing and if I'm going to waste time, I'd better do it at home, on my couch. Sometimes, we find ourselves wasting time at a bus stop, at the place where you work... this does not amuse me. I don't mind working, in fact, I enjoy it very much, but what I can't do is go to an office to look at someone else's face or listen to people talking nonsense.
I know that life can be very hectic in other parts of the world, however, here in my city most of the time it is at a standstill. It's just that extremes are always bad.
Do you know why I took this picture? It's a view of Zapata Avenue. And we had just arrived at a gas station. A long line of cars... do you see it?
We can see it closer.
For those of you who read the poster on the right and laughed like us, who needs to be rescued and saved here? Of course, all the poor souls who spend their time waiting in long lines, when they could be productive in other areas. Or simply allocate time for themselves.
We can always evade. Take other routes, build our own destiny. Actually, my mother and I don't have a car. So this problem of the long line can be taken off our list of thorny issues.
Before we got here, when we passed the Bus Station, I told her that there was an ATM there and I needed to withdraw money. Imagine walking on the street with a briefcase of money because inflation is superb. So we found that... guess what? There were 15 people to withdraw money. If each one took at least 5 minutes, we would be waiting there for 75 minutes! The worst thing that I didn't tell you is that before that ATM we passed by 5 or 6 and none of them were active. Either they had no money, or they were out of service.
My mom told me that I was changed, that I had always taught her that she had to have positive energy and it turns out that was not what she saw in me now. I had to laugh again. And I hugged her too. I told her that was why I sometimes didn't even leave the house. No, but don't be sad. Remember that we can always evade, look for other ways. And believe me, yes, they can be found.
A lot of good attitude you have to have and this actually beat complaining, because the walk with my mother, even if it was two blocks, sunbathing or fresh air, was the best walk in the world and nothing could ruin it.
So we kept walking. The day my mom came home to visit me, that early morning, I had left some clothes in the washing machine so that when I woke up they would be washed and I would only have to hang them out in the sun. I woke up with the house full of smoke. I almost called the fire department. To make a long story short, the washing machine got stuck, broke... what a disaster! Of course, along with the terrible situation of having to find a mechanic to fix it, there was no shortage of jokes.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well, when we got to the place where I was taking my mother for lunch we found... guess what?
Nothing mattered anymore. When you are in good company, when you have a really good time with someone, you can forget about the world. That person becomes your world and you can be happy. You even have the possibility to keep those wonderful moments in your mind wherever you are, no matter what situation you are in.
Look at these croquettes. I love croquettes and when I go to a restaurant I always order this as a starter.
The sauce may not be a Kandinsky but I see one of his paintings there if I pay more attention... lol.
That we had a great time there, yes. We were in this place that also accepts payment with HBD. It was awesome!
The menu was:
Croquettes, 4 beers, a pizza (which we shared because it was large) and two coffees.
Very good service, quality... oh, those beers were ice cold, the croquettes were delicious, we loved the pizza and the coffee, also exquisite.
It was time to walk to the find a cab. But there was a little friend (no, it was not exactly tiny) lost and I had to act as a rescue unit.

We were worried that he was going to be hit by a car on that busy street. So I found out where he lived and notified his owner, who left without thanking us.
Anyway, it didn't matter, whoever should have thanked me did. And I was happy to help. So much happiness when put together can only make you float. It reminds me of many happy moments in my day to day life, that don't require so much, just rays of sunshine, intelligent conversation, projects, jokes, someone to keep you company or give you that little push you need to react and get out of any stuck.
Speaking of light rays.
Just before climbing the stairs that led us home.
Golden hour.
And then when we get to the top... and this I can perfectly compare to a feeling.
