Hello Hive friends, welcome to another post! I have been looking forward to this Wednesday so I can share all the photos I took on my recent walk to the river but I realized there's too many photos for one post so I'll split them in two parts...
I started taking photos one I was on this road that leads to the river. It was such a beautiful, sunny day with a mild breeze and fresh air - perfect for a nice, long walk.
At this part, on the right is the path I was taking and on the left is a new bicycle road that goes all the way to the city.
I wasn't biking at all this summer which is such a shame... We have a couple of bicycles but none of them are mine and I am definitely planning to get one next Spring. I am that type of person who avoids borrowing things unless it's necessary but I am taking my brother's bike to work until the weather gets bad, then I'll just walk as my job is really close and that will give me a chance to take photos for Wednesday Walks, hehe.
Every time I go for a walk, I want to discover this path but I always give up. Do you think I should explore more and see where it takes me?
Continuing on my way to the river, my otherwise peaceful walk was often interrupted by cars passing by but I was expecting that as it was Friday afternoon.
I love these trees along the way on the right side! They look so pretty especially in the Fall when their leaves start turning yellow.
Looking on the left, it's just land and grass and this one lonely tree.
Moving on, on the left side, land and grass is replaced by a few houses surrounded by trees. I always wonder how it's like to live outside the village or in a more isolated area in general.
As I was getting closer to the river, I realized I wasn't getting tired at all! I wasn't walking this road for a few months and every time I take a long break from long distance walking, I get quite tired. Maybe it was the fact I was in a great mood and I was enjoying the weather so much that made me feel kind of 'light'.
This part of the road was so pretty with the mixture of green and yellow leaves everywhere!
Seeing piles of wood in front of houses is another sign Fall is here and Winter is coming. :)
Look at these leaves and colors! While I was mesmerized by the colors of nature, I almost didn't even notice someone was watching me, haha. There was a super cute dog looking at me in silence and even posed for a photo.
With this photo I will end part I of this walk, next Wednesday I will share more photos of the river, boats and a furry friend I met... Stay tuned!
