Hello everyone and welcome to another #WednesdayWalk post, originally created by ! Yesterday it was snowing for the first time this fall/winter season but the snow would disappear right away. I enjoyed the morning view through my window, watching the snow falling but I didn’t go anywhere yesterday. Today was a sunny day and since it is Wednesday, I though I would go for a long walk and stop by a couple of places to get some things I needed.
Novi Sad city center turned into a real festive market and together with all the decorations that have been put up a month ago or so, it makes it a proper winter wonderland. These little houses are set up every year and you can buy all kinds of homemade stuff (honey and rakija for example), some sell candies and there’s also mulled wine that many people enjoy on a cold day.
This area especially comes to life in the evenings, especially if there’s some kind of event going on. Of course, around Christmas time it’s going to be the most visited and eventful. I like this atmosphere and it’s nice to see something going on in the city during cold months.
Here are some random photos I took while I was on the walk today. Even though it was sunny, it was pretty cold! Trees are looking so bare and naked, real winter vibes. I am still glad I took some time today to go for a walk as I felt really good after and I also got to run some errands that were on my to-do list anyway.
Finally, here is a funny photo of this beautiful cat that was staring at something and I couldn't figure out what it was, lol. I thought that maybe she saw a dog but when I looked around, I didn't see any dogs nearby so I guess it will stay a mystery.
