Since she was running late, I took the opportunity to take a walk near her house (my husband has a daughter from a previous relationship, and she lives mostly with her mother but comes to us several times a week) on the border with Pistoia. It's an area where I discovered a lot of people go for walks. It's located on the border between Pistoia and Chiazzano, halfway between the city and the countryside. It's a very quiet area with light-colored houses typical of the Pistoia area, very pretty and well-kept. I was also lucky enough to have some nice weather, which is rare these rainy days; the sky above the houses was truly beautiful. It's a shame there's so much construction work going on in this area, etc. My stepdaughter told me that it's because they're fixing the bridge (this area is crossed by a bridge that is also a very busy road) and then they're building new buildings, probably some apartment buildings that will certainly ruin the silhouette of the area a bit.
