I got swimmer's otitis on my birthday and it was a sad surprise... But I really wanted my second birthday abroad to be a bright day and good memories. Therefore, gaining faith in a quick recovery, I left the house to meet the holiday, which my daughters organized for me. They always like to surprise me with their gifts. So, the first was a bouquet of 31 red roses, which were supposed to give me the healing energy of red :)
This birthday is also the anniversary of my driving a car. So we decided to remember my first steps of driving and went to our favorite beautiful place in the mountains, where I drove for the first time. I remembered how I was driving at a speed of 10 km per hour, afraid to fall into the Canyon :)
Later, we made a luxurious photo session on the bank of a rapid mountain stream and it will be a truly unforgettable walk. My daughters believe that a birthday should have a lot of bright moments to make it different from other days. This wonderful bouquet made my walk in the beloved Kesme Bogazi Canyon unique.
On the second day, after my active birthday, I had to visit to the hospital. But first, I decided to take another walk in a magical place that we recently found during the rain.
This is a magical pine forest in the mountains of Kuzdere village.
We drove the car along the winding road to the village of Kuzdere and I got incredible pleasure from these truly stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The village itself is located at the foot of the mountain, and wooded slopes rise around it, surrounded by a sea of green pines.
We parked the car at the foot of the mountain and continued up the stony path, stopping each time to take new exciting photos of these giant rocks that were illuminated by the sun.
The pine forest on the mountain is truly a sight to behold. The trees are tall and slender, their trunks reaching towards the sky as they stretch towards the light. The forest floor is blanketed in a layer of soft, fragrant needles, and the air is filled with the sweet, resinous scent of pine.
One particularly stunning feature of the landscape is the twin rocks, two massive formations that jut up from the forested slopes like giant sentinels. They are an iconic landmark of the area, and you'll be able to see them from miles around.
We went to the top of the forest and saw the highest mountain of Takhtala, covered with snow and a mountain range that looked dark blue. It was a fascinating sight! We sat down on the ground warmed by the spring sun and rested from our noisy life. I immersed myself in the silence and harmony of nature, which gave me the healing power of this magical high mountain meadow...
As you wander through the forest, you'll notice the occasional flash of sunlight glinting off the needles, casting dappled shadows on the ground. The forest is home to a wide variety of wildlife, and you may catch glimpses of birds flitting through the branches or small animals scurrying along the forest floor.
Overall, the pine forest on the mountain in the village of Kuzdere near Kemer is a truly beautiful and awe-inspiring sight. Whether you're an avid hiker looking for a challenging trek or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of nature, you'll find plenty to love in this stunning landscape.
This is my contribution to the #wednesdaywalk challenge, initiated by :)
Now I know a place near Kemer that I will return to every time if my soul longs for the pristine purity of the pine forest. Just a few hours spent here gave me a feeling of deep happiness and gratitude to God for my life!
Thanks to everyone who joined my walk!
