Lost paradise... My feelings are so similar when I visited this beautiful place of nature and saw a terrible picture...
But let me start my day over. After several rainy days, the sun appeared again over Kemer. Thanks to the #wednesdaywalk initiative initiated by , I once again have the pleasure of telling you about my wonderful walk to a remote beach I used to frequent last spring. There were few people there. As I love hiking and spending time alone with the sea, I found this pleasure away from the crowded beaches of Kemer.
My daughter decided to start running to regain the tone her body lost during the winter. I personally prefer brisk walking. And my youngest daughter
supports our every initiative :) So we agreed and were going to this beautiful place.
This beach is a 20-minute walk away. Our path ran along the river that separates Moonlight park, where there are many cafes by the sea, and the quiet shore, where there is now an abandoned French hotel.
We walked along the river, enjoying the beautiful clouds in the sky, which were reflected in the puddles after the rain. Snow-capped peaks of mountains could be seen in the distance, which always evoke in me a feeling of admiration for the beautiful creation of nature!
This is the magical period when the first spring flowers begin to bloom. The soul is filled with joy after the experienced cold winds. It's already warm, but not hot yet. You can walk for a long time at this time without getting tired. March is the month of my birth. I am filled with special feelings of happiness and gratitude to God for my life at this time!
Darinka plucked a sprig of mimosa and this moment of funny competition for the flower with her older sister. They will always find a topic for laughter )))
Having enjoyed running and walking, we came to the seashore and I again happily to see the view of the semicircular bay, which is one of the main natural beauties of Kemer.
It is surrounded by high rocky mountains, which creates an incredibly beautiful landscape. The bay is overgrown with greenery, and the bottom of the sea near the shore is covered with limestone stones, which have bizarre shapes created by the sea. Here you can see many small shells. Fans of scuba diving can enjoy beautiful views of the seabed.
This secluded spot was my refuge, a place where I could escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the peace and quiet of the sea. I was walking in the direction of the abandoned French Hotel Club Med Kemer and suddenly noticed a terrible picture! ( I will not show these unpleasant species in my post )
The normally pristine beach was littered with trash, and the stench of rot hung in the air. My heart sank when I realized something had happened to my favorite beach.
Walking further, I saw that the garbage was piled up and even there were two dead animals! It was very traumatic for the psyche of my daughters! The beach that was once a paradise with white sand and turquoise water has now become a lost paradise for me...
I was filled with feelings of anger and sadness. How could this happen to such a beautiful place? There was an opinion that the garbage was thrown from the ship and brought to the shore...
With a feeling of deep sadness, I walked along the coast, where I noticed a small, cozy bay. It was located among large stones, and created the impression of a natural pool. I decided to go there and dive into the water. The bottom was covered with small pebbles, which added a special charm to this small bay. My daughters are still not enthusiastic about swimming in March :) The water was warm, around 17 degrees Celsius, and it allowed me to enjoy swimming without feeling cold. I'm used to swimming in Ukraine in much cooler water!
The surrounding mountains of Kemeru provided a breathtaking view and added pleasure to my swim. And the sky was so bright and beautiful, with clouds of unusual shapes and sizes, that it looked almost like a picture.
Thank you for your visit 💕
