It was 7 in the morning. We stopped on a serpentine road above the sea, put the car in emergency mode. Do you do the same if you park your car in an unauthorized place? 😜
It was a moment of heavenly pleasure - swimming at dawn in the Finike Mağralı Koy
There were 239 km to go from Fethiye to Kemer. We walked for a long time in the abandoned ghost town of Koyakoy, and we set off only at 19:00 in the evening. So I decided to take my time to give myself this nice bonus at the end of my exciting cruise on the west coast of Turkey. We stopped at a gas station to sleep for 2 hours. I'm the kind of person who can't sleep in the car.
So, after taking a nap, at 5 o'clock in the morning I set off on a beautiful serpentine road over the Mediterranean Sea. I decided to stop in this beautiful little bay, at a distance of 11 km from Finike, to experience the incredible mystery of life - swimming in the sea, when everything around is still sleeping and only the sea, the eternally dancing sea, will take me in its arms and give me its energy, better than coffee :)
Even when we were driving from Kemer to the city of Kas, passing the city of Finike, we admired the incredibly beautiful coast and small cozy bays that were hidden between the rocks. That's when the dream appeared - to swim here on the way back!
And so we got out of our car, climbed over the fence of the serpentine road and stopped for a moment, enjoying this turquoise lagoon. The color of the water was magical. There were shades of blue, turquoise and emerald. Orange rocks guarded this semi-circular cozy bay, which beckoned me to dive into its waters! The morning was gloomy, a little rain was falling... There was a feeling of magical mystery of being alone with nature, which is eternal and beautiful in its uniqueness.
On the left, the rocks formed a beautiful bath among the stones, and here there was a particularly varied color range of water. Stones of orange and white shades created unique pictures of the seabed!
I plunged into the cool water of the morning Mediterranean Sea and received the energy and vigor of a natural element! As if there was no fatigue from a sleepless night. The joy of life was raging in me. I felt happiness and gratitude to the Lord for my opportunity to travel and discover new beautiful corners of the Earth!

From now on, having traveled this journey, I realized that I have found my secret of happiness! I don't like a sedentary life. Driving a car, stopping for a few days in an interesting place, discovering new, never-before-seen places - this is the type of travel that gives me the greatest happiness! Surprises and the unknown make my life an interesting adventure that always gives inspiration and does not allow me to get bored :) Do you like such a nomadic lifestyle?
