It had been raining for many days in a row, and suddenly one sunny day in the middle of the rainy season... The Turkish mountains seemed to be washed, and shone with their unique blue-orange colors! We arrived in Beldibi to walk to the ancient tunnel, breathe in the breathtaking pine air. Suddenly we saw the way up, and we decided to explore it...
And at the end of our walk, beautiful bird's-eye views of the mountains and the sea opened before our eyes, which were breathtaking! The waves moved slowly, hitting the shore. The sea was a magical moving, lively dark blue lagoon!
I called this road: the secret orange road! It went uphill, on the right was a cliff and a pine forest below, and on the left was a natural stone wall of orange rocks that literally hung above us!
We moved carefully under this majestic rock, feeling small and afraid: suddenly the stone would break off and ... but we immediately tried to replace these negative thoughts with positive ones: we trust God with our lives, we are here under his protection, and everything will be fine 🙏🏻
The grandeur of nature here is truly awe-inspiring! Giant pine trees, the beautiful Beldibi Bay below, blue mountains in the distance... This combination truly resembles paradise on Earth!
Enjoying, while at the same time realizing how fragile this harmony is, and how carefully people should treat these great blessings that are available for free! Peaceful sky, water, clean air, birdsong, the scent of flowers... It's all free and at the same time precious!
On my way back, I stopped to take photos of all these lovely touches of my pleasure: a dry mother-of-pearl flower, a cone near an ant nest, a yellow, amber-like bush against the backdrop of a green forest, pink evening clouds in the distance against the backdrop of mountains... All this filled my soul with joy. I hope you enjoyed our walk with us too!
