We were moving towards the storm, hoping for a miracle. Maybe it would calm down, and we would really reach the mysterious highest mountain...
...where our Turkish friend had accompanied us. The amazing mountain scenery was breathtaking, changing every time outside our car window!
During my visit to the very heart of Turkey, between Sivas and Malatya, I discovered the interesting opportunity to travel along winding mountain roads by car, thus managing to see more mountains and unique places.
Every time we saw old houses that seemed to be lying with their roofs on the ground, or bright wildflowers, my girls would shout, "stop!" and run to take photos of all this exotic beauty!
Here are yellow flowers that look exactly like the yarrow flowers that I collected for medicinal tea in Ukraine. There they were white, and here they are yellow. But the leaves are very similar, and the smell is the same. So, we collected a bunch, and put it in the car, as a wonderful natural air freshener.
Meanwhile, the wind was getting stronger. We stopped at the shepherd's, got out of the car again to take these amazing shots: colorful cows against the backdrop of a high, sprawling hill, where we could see isolated bushes and green stones.
The shepherd excitedly tried to warn us about the danger! There was snow in the mountains! So, we had to turn back. We didn't dare to move further high into the mountains.
The village was visible from above, and of course there was the tall tower of the mosque, which looked very beautiful in the valley, against the backdrop of the mountains and the cloudy sky.
We continued along the winding roads, and around the bend a unique find awaited us. A real ancient treasure! A friend told us that this house is indeed very old.
We seemed to feel the spirit of past centuries in this mountain village, where people lived in these low, squat houses, harmoniously creating harmony with nature with their stone essence...
Thanks for the great initiative #wednesdaywalk by :)
The last beautiful moment of my walk was the amazing purple flowers that covered the ground between the mountains like a colorful carpet! I hope you enjoyed it with me.
