Today, I would like to share a few frames from my walk again for the Wednesday Walk community. Actually, I walk in many places near my home. Sometimes I take a short street walk, sometimes I walk around near the beach, sometimes I just take a few rounds around my house. But this time, the place I walk is one of the farthest tracks among the places that can be considered close to my home. Despite this, it feels very good to me every time I come. Because this is a bigger, more lively, more fun and more motivating place than other walking areas in my opinion.
This track is not just nice for walking. It is also a place that is good for the human soul. It's beautiful for my eyes, it's beautiful for my ears. There are greenery, trees, flowers and small ponds on one side. On the other hand, the sounds of birds, light wind and calm movements of people walking. It is really precious to find such a space in the city. In a crowded and busy city like Istanbul, sometimes people need such places to return to themselves.
When I started walking, it wasn't quite dark yet. The sky was cloudy, but this cloudy weather added a different beauty to the park. Sometimes sunny weather is very nice, but walking in such light indoor and cool weather is also very pleasant for me. In the first photos, you can see lush trees, small areas surrounded by stones and the buildings behind. The city and nature stand side by side here. There are apartments and modern buildings on one side, trees, lawns and a peaceful park area on the other. This image always makes me think: Even if a person lives in the city, he should not break ties with nature.
One of my favorite places on the track is the red walkway. Even the color of this road gives people energy. It motivates me to see the road in front of me as I walk. I encourage myself by saying, "Let me walk a little more, go to this corner, then take another tour." I normally walk here for an average of one and a half or two hours. I walked almost that much on this walk. Sometimes I check the step count, sometimes I don't look at all. Because some walks are not just for sports. Sometimes a person needs to clear his head, rest his heart and breathe a little.
The sounds of birds were really beautiful while walking. Sometimes we forget to hear bird sounds in city life. The sound of cars, people's hustle and bustle, phone notifications, jobs, responsibilities, the sounds of nature remain in the background. But it feels so good to hear the sound of the birds clearly while walking here. Those voices give me peace. It's like bringing people to themselves. After a while, people start to think more calmly. I think that's the best part of walking. It moves not only the body, but also the mind, but also calms.
There are different areas in the park. Children's playgrounds, seating areas, small bridges, ponds, walking paths among the trees and beautiful cafes... Especially the giraffe-shaped slide in the playground looked very cute. When the evening lights came on, the atmosphere of the park changed even more. The day is beautiful, the evening is beautiful. It was also very pleasant to walk under the lights. As it got dark, the sky turned dark blue and the parking lights began to illuminate the road. At that moment, the walk became more peaceful.
There is a tree with a pink bloom in a photo. I think it was one of the most beautiful views of the park. There is a small area of water next to it, greenery behind it and the minarets of the mosque in the distance. This frame seemed very peaceful to me. There is both nature, city and a spiritual feeling. At moments like this, people want to stop and look a little. While I was walking, I sometimes stopped, took pictures, watched around. Because this walk was not just to step fast. It was also to notice the beauties I saw.

While walking here, I also thought that I was grateful to my Lord for my life. Sometimes we expect big things. But in fact, being able to walk, get some fresh air, spend time in a beautiful park, hear the sounds of birds and even have enough time to have a coffee is a great blessing. When people realize these, they feel more peaceful. I also feel it often during the walk. There are moments in the intensity of life that seem small but are actually very valuable. This walk was one of them for me.
Walking is also very important to me in terms of health. I can maintain my weight, but I also have excesses to give. I know I have to take regular walks every day for this. Sometimes it's not easy to do that. Sometimes people are lazy, sometimes they get tired, sometimes they say "it would be okay without today". But after I started walking, I say I'm glad I left. Because as I move, my energy increases. When I get home, I feel lighter and better. That's why I want to see walking not just as a sport, but as a beautiful routine of my life.
Another good thing about this track is that there are nice cafes where I can sit after the walk. I usually sit in one of the cafes on the track after I finish my walk. I have a coffee, rest a little and complete the pleasure of the walk. I think this little reward makes the walk more motivating. First a long walk, then a hot coffee... Moments like this are very good for me.
This walk reminded me again: Sometimes we don't need to make big plans to be good for ourselves. A nice park, a little time, a comfortable shoe and an open heart can be enough. While walking, one listens to both his body and soul. While I was walking on this track, I did not break away from the city and got close to nature. Bird sounds, flowers, roads, lights and the blue of the evening were very good for me.
It is very pleasant for me to share this walk for the Wednesday Walk community. Because here I am sharing not only a walk, but also what that walk makes me feel. I hope you will feel the peace of this track while looking at the photos. For me, this walk didn't just mean taking a step; it meant breathing, being grateful, being motivated and taking good care of myself.
