Good afternoon dear friends, lovers of Wednesday walks.
We all have a place that we love, a place that attracts us and makes us come back again and again because there we feel that our energy fills us with good feelings.
Puerto Madryn is one of the most beautiful cities of the Patagonian coast of Argentina not only for its beautiful landscapes, for the great amount of tourist attractions, for the valuable diversity, but also for the development that the city has reached especially in the last ten years.
Muy buenas tardes queridos amigos amantes de las caminatas de los miércoles.
Todos tenemos un lugar que nos enamora, un lugar que nos atrae y hace que volvamos una y otra vez porque allí nos sentimos que nuestra energía nos llena de buenas sensaciones.
Puerto Madryn es una de las ciudades más bellas de la costa Patagónica Argentina no solo por sus hermoso paisajes, por la gran cantidad de atractivos turísticos, por la valiosa diversidad, sino también por el desarrollo que ha alcanzado la ciudad sobre todo en los últimos diez años.
The waterfront of this beautiful city is a sample of the progress of recent times and how beautiful a city can be when it is worked seriously and responsibly.
We started our walk near the pier and after that we went for a stroll to a recently built artisan fair where we could find a great variety and diversity of regional and handmade products.
There my wife bought a hand cream made with seaweed that is found in the waters of the gulf, which are harvested by hand to produce quality and natural products.
After the stroll through the different stalls we continued walking with my younger daughter along the waterfront while my wife and my older daughter went shopping at the malls.
La costanera de esta hermosa ciudad es una muestra del progreso de los últimos tiempos y de lo linda que puede quedar una ciudad cuando se trabaja de manera seria y responsable.
Comenzamos nuestro paseo cerca del muelle y después de allí fuimos a pasear a una feria de artesanos construida recientemente donde podemos encontrar gran variedad y diversidad de productos regionales y artesanales.
Allí mi esposa compro una crema para manos fabricada con algas que se consiguen dentro de las aguas del golfo, que se cosechan en forma artesanal para poder producir productos de calidad y naturales.
Luego del paseo por los diferentes puestos seguimos caminando con mi hija menor por la costanera mientras mi esposa y mi hija mayor iban de compras a los centros comerciales.
As we walked along the extension of the waterfront we could appreciate several sculptures commemorating women, veterans of the Malvinas War, among others.
What caught our attention were a series of carved sculptures and paintings with different themes made in dry trees. There I could appreciate a lot of talent in the work of these true artists, many of whom sometimes find it difficult to get out of anonymity despite their wonderful works.
It is undoubtedly a great joy to see that this city that I love so much is growing and preparing itself as a city to receive a large number of tourists, not only nationals but also foreigners who year after year come to these latitudes to live the experience offered by the whole environment of Península Valdés.
A medida que íbamos recorriendo la extensión de la costanera pudimos apreciar varias esculturas en conmemoración a la mujer, a los veteranos de la Guerra de Malvinas, entre otros.
Lo que llamó mucho nuestra atención fueron una serie de esculturas talladas y pinturas con diferentes temáticas hechas en árboles secos. Allí pude aprecia mucho talento en el trabajo de estos verdaderos artistas a muchos de los cuales en ocasiones les cuesta salir del anonimato a pesar de sus maravillosos trabajos.
Sin dudas da una inmensa alegría poder observar que esa ciudad que tanto quiero va creciendo y preparándose como una ciudad para recibir una gran cantidad de turistas no solo nacionales, sino también extranjeros que años tas año llegan a esas latitudes para vivir la experiencia que ofrece todo el entorno de Península Valdés.
It is always nice to return to those places where we feel fulfilled, where we get very nice energy and much more if you see progress like this wonderful city has had.
