I didn't live by the sea most of my life... As a matter of fact, I was on a summer (sea) vacation when I was 2 years old, and after that, the next time was when I had my own family... When I had almost 30... I was living in a town on the river banks of the Danube... That was my sea...
Ten years ago, I have decided to move with my family to live in Spain, and here I am... I have changed the Danube for the Mediterranean sea... It looks great, it feels great to walk on the seaside... The air is awesome, and as I live in a small town, there is no industry at all... But, still... Sometimes, I miss "my sea", the good old Danube...
So, for this Wednesday walk, we will walk together on a route from my town, to the neighbor town's port... It is a 2.5 km walk in one direction and it is completed by the sea...
The first photo is of a watchtower in my town that, for my 10 years living here, I didn't see that it was used EVER... 😃 But, it's nice to see it, and it's a kind of a symbol of our stony beach...
I will keep these small soccer goals in my memories as I was playing football with my son when he was 6-7 years old... Today, when he is a teenager, we don't play football, but luckily, I have lured him to table tennis, so we do that... At least once per week... It's important to keep bonds with your children in some special way...
It's strange to see the beach completely empty, but very soon it will be full...

After the long beach, there is a part of the seaside covered with bigger rocks where you can't swim in the summer...
...and that part is perfect for sea animals, crabs, seashells, etc... I have thought before that these are dead seashells as they look like those pirates stick to the ship from the Pirates of the Caribbean...
I can't remember that these rocks were that white from the salt, but maybe that's because they have been brought there a few years ago to protect the seashore from waves... Those that are there naturally, have normal colors...
If you want to write a poem by the sea, you can try to do it on this typewriting machine... But, be careful, maybe you will hurt your fingers on this one... It's made from clay... :)

The next stop is the town port in the neighboring town... Firstly, we have these sea champions that are relaxing on the firm ground, waiting to be repaired and polished before returning back to the sea...
This one is my favorite boat of all in the port... I don't know why, but it looks like the one that has many sea stories written on the deck... Old-school, made from wood, with so elegant lines... Just perfect...
I was late for about 1-2 minutes to catch docking of this fishing boat...

Unfortunately, the water in the port isn't the best quality as of petrol used by boats... But still, there is a lot of fish inside the port, enjoying calm waters...
I suppose that these are some kind of traps for crabs or some other sea marine...
..and of course, fishnets drying out after a whole day spent in the water...
Every seaport has to have an ice factory and this one has its own... You have to keep that fish fresh as long as possible and to do that, they had to be put on ice early...

This is a view of the town where I live... We have that one ugly high building and the rest are 3-4 floor buildings...
...the look on the port, but from the other side...
Every night when I go on this route by the seaside, I take a photo of the green light from this lighthouse... It looks much better over the night, from a distance than by day, this close...
These are the artificial concrete blocks situated on the "external side" of the port... They are the first line of defense from big whales and bad weather that comes from the sea... The dimensions of each block are around 2mx2mx2m, or maybe a bit more...
I know that many people don't like graffiti, but some of them can be real art masterpieces with a strong message...

I remember that I was using this part of the port (outside it, looking to another side) for recording some of my early videos for HIVE, 2 years ago... It was a perfect "shelter" from strong winds...
And have reached the end of this Wednesday walk with another stony beach, but this time in the neighborhood town... It is very similar to one in my town and it waits for higher temperatures and tourists to come...
Wash your feet from sand and salt, and we are ready to go back home after a pleasant, sunny, Wednesday walk...
