MY WEDNESDAY WALK TO A NEARBY SUPERMARKET

It has been a while in this community and every time, I do remember the Wednesday Walk Challenge but I just couldn't grab something to post but last week, I was determined to visit here again. It was a nice walk down with my friends to the first time supermarket I just visited.

This is my entry to the #Wednesdaywalk Challenge.

Since we are still in the period of the Dreemport Challenge in collaboration with the Ecency, I would make this my way of showing generosity to my friends because I took them out for a little shopping. My way of telling them how good they have been to me all the time. One thing about me is, I like to give and show my generous life to people around me because I want to make them happy.

Last week Monday, we talked and I said “home was boring, let's find somewhere to go. Don't worry, I am footing the bill for the three of us”. They were happy and we fixed Friday for it. So, don't mind me posting for the Wednesday walk. Thank God I have the opportunity today.

I had it in my mind to take them out to an eatery, so we can eat and gist, talk about many things. I just want us to be away from home and I intended to take pictures for this community. We scheduled 4 pm on Friday but unfortunately, one of us took ill and she said the two of us can go while we leave her because of her condition but we said no.

Then, after much deliberation, we chose to visit the supermarket that was opened and hadn't been a year. It was close to the school and we trekked.

We passed through an estate and that was where my photography skill began and I couldn't stop taking pictures.

This was the first house we saw in the estate and while snapping, my two friends I was taking out also featured and that was fine. Isn't it? They were both talking while I concentrated on my business.

At least they understood why I was doing that and the one on pink was nice to show me what to snap. She was the one not feeling fine. She is putting on a sweater to prevent her from cold. She just had to follow us still.

Then, I proceeded with taking some photographs and I captured these beautiful flowers in front of another building.

I think those are the two rich buildings in the estate and looking at the outside, looks so neat and beautiful. That means, what would be inside would wow us if we have to go in there.

While still walking as we were almost getting to the main road where the supermarket was. I saw this fish pond and I captured it too.

We got to the main road and we waited for the road to be cleared before crossing. One has to be careful with such a busy road.

_{My friends were just lucky to be shown in my pictures even when I tried not to let them be part too. Lol}

_{The name of the supermarket is “PERENNIAL”. I know when it was opened and that was in December, last year. When it was opened, I only went there to ask if they sell CWAY refill water which could be to my advantage instead of going a far distance to get it, but unfortunately, they haven't started selling it up till now. They opened this supermarket, especially for the students who would need to get some stuff close by and that was a good idea from the owner of the supermarket.}

Now, we are in already and we met three ladies who were staff there. We greeted each other and while my friends proceeded to check some things out, I continued taking as many pictures and I took these from each stand. So, let's go and feed our eyes with something bubbly 😍😍

_{This was the first picture I took as I entered the supermarket. This is where alcoholic wines are kept. There are different brands here.}

_{At this stand, there is Spaghetti on the first roll, Poundo Yam on the second roll and seasonings for cooking on the last roll. Poundo Yam has always been my favourite and very easy to make without going through the stress of pounding yam in a mortal. That would drain my energy. Why stress myself when I could just get this one at the price of $2+ and save myself?}

_{Here we have some cool wines that are non-alcoholic and when I checked there, I thought I would see the brand I wanted so I could get one, but they don't have.}

_{We have Indomie, Macaroni and other products of Spaghetti here too.}

_{We have toiletries, pads, toothbrushes, and souvenirs at this stand.}

_{We have chocolates, mentols, sweets, and shortcake biscuits here too.}

_{There are butter, mayonnaise, prawn crackers, diapers, ChinChin, peanuts, and groundnuts in this section.}

_{These are cooking ingredients to spice up a meal. Curry and Thyme, Maggi seasoning etc}

_{There are some drinks in the freezer here.}

_{You can see sponges of different colours. These are used for washing plates and bathing}

_{My friends picked what they wanted and we headed to the cashier who was watching a Yoruba movie. I transferred some money which was my bill. While doing that, I wasn't paying attention to what we bought and I couldn't take pictures again since they have packed it all in their bags.}

In the end, it was worth the time we spent outside and when we got home, we munched our goodies and that was all.
