I was tired of sitting at home during the pandemic and was very depressed. But after a few months, the situation changed. So I was sure I kept the faith without worrying about my lost job. " Now I am a freelancer.
Here I am sharing my travel experiences. After I lost my job, I felt something was different about my village because there was a lot of work going on there.
This was about 7 hours ago. I thought of going to the village once again at 11 o'clock and decided to change route and travel through the highway. I checked on Google and there were clouds but no chance of any rain.
During this, I covered a distance of 45 km, and that was enough for a day. I want to cycle 80 km on average every day from 8 in the morning, but it will take time. Now at 11 o'clock on the highway or in the field, wherever my work is, I should complete my work on my bicycle and come back home.
Meanwhile I had my bike's pressure checked
I have had no cycle for almost 15 years, but now that I have no job, I bought a new cycle and I am going to various places by cycle. I am saving on petrol. Now I feel cycling is good for physical exercise and keeping fit. My only motivation was to break out of the boring routine, explore new places, and have a good time. During this time, I also had a chance to test whether I could forget about my job that I had missed during the last few months.
Now, I cycle every day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by a rest for an hour or two. For me, the initial few days were not easy. I made many mistakes in covering distances, and due to pain, I was not able to cycle at high speed. But, I never complained nor thought of giving up.
Due to the lockdown, most of the roads were not too busy or almost empty, and there was not much traffic, so there was no problem with cycling on the highway.
When a friend of mine asked if I got tired after hours of cycling, I said excitedly, "On the contrary, I feel energetic after cycling."
Changing the route gives me a chance to meet new people and taste many new dishes. During this journey, I passed through many places on the highway. After reaching my destination, I finished my day's work and set out on a local sightseeing tour. I have to say that long-distance cycling is more of a mental pleasure than physical stress.
Initially, I thought, "Your body will not support you; you will face many challenges along the way." But, a strong mindset and the right kind of mindset helped me deal with all the problems.
I believe that spending time with friends will be more enjoyable. Later, I'll ask two of my close friends if they're interested in cycling with me.
I came back at 5 pm and am writing this post now. 6.55 PM local time.
