today community I want to share with you one of my journeys farthest from my home and my country.
This hike was done in Beirut, Lebanon, more than 4000 kilometers from my country Portugal.
For those who don't know Lebanon, it's a wonderful and very beautiful country, just seeing it and being there we can appreciate its beauties.
Unfortunately, a few years ago this country lived through war but fortunately and at this moment, despite sometimes having small disputes, peace reigns.
I went there with the mission of helping in the reconstruction of the country, in my case, I participated in the construction of houses for the local populations, in the reconstruction of houses and heliports, among others, and the humanitarian part of helping people and the population many ways and shapes.
This walk was given in my spare time and in the time I spent there I had the opportunity to get to know this area better.
Beirut is a city bathed by the Mediterranean Sea.
As we can see in this walk of mine in Beirut by the sea, it is a place where fishing is very important for people and for local commerce we can enjoy this activity while walking along the shores by the sea.
In our walk we went through several places, it was about 1 hour walking and enjoying this wonderful place.
Often those palaces and buildings that look like they came out of a movie but very real.
We also enjoyed it and made a stop on the sand and went for a dip in this clear water that you can see the bottom because of its clarity.
